"ONE IF BY LAND, TWO IF BY SEA"....AND TOSS IN BY AIR AND RAIL.

THE RUSSIAN BEAR GROWLS BACK....

Russian Aerospace Forces Relocate Amid Snap Combat Readiness

Russia Conducts Armored Train Drills For First Time In 15 Years (Video)

FROM FEBRUARY, 2016: Russia has started manufacturing elements of the ‘Barguzin’ railway-based ICBM.

“The design documents are ready and we have started making some elements of the system” – a source of TASS said and added that there are no specific dates of the train adoption.

It was reported earlier that the new railway-based ICBM would be equipped with ‘Yars’ missiles, each train carrying six ICBMs. They plan to deploy five systems altogether. Russian Strategic Missile Forces consider that new systems will remain in service until at least 2040.

According to the START treaty, signed by the Russian and the US presidents in 1993, Russia was deprived of the ‘nuclear trains’ in 2005.

The new START (SNV-III) Treaty puts no restrictions on development of such missile systems.

More than 10 ships of the Caspian Flotilla have reportedly left their bases in Astrakhan and Kaspiysk.

The snap combat readiness check covers the Southern Military District troops, part of the forces of the Western and Central Military Districts, the Northern Fleet, the Aerospace Forces and the Airborne Forces

Lt. Col Michelle Baldanza, a U.S. Defense Department spokesperson, said the United States hoped that Russia would fulfill all relevant obligations under the existing agreements and provide the necessary assurances to neighbors and information about the extent and nature of these events, the BBC wrote.

This snap exercises are the largest event in Russia over the past year and a half.

In recent months, such drills become more frequent.

In June, Russia checked the combat and mobilization readiness of its army.

In March, a similar event was arranged for the airborne troops, involving about 30,000 men."

Russian Black Sea Naval Infantry to Perform Maneuvers at Kerch Strait

These "checks" are simply part of preparations for the Caucasus-2016 maneuvers, and a pre-planned  September event.

THIS EVENT:

The Russian-Chinese naval exercise Joint Sea-2016 will be held on September 12-19.

Let's keep in mind the near-panic back in 2014 when everyone was expecting Russia to nuke the planet over the Crimea....didn't happen.

Russia is merely responding to being pushed and surrounded by NATO.

ACCORDING TO 'TASS' AND OTHER RUSSIAN NEWS AGENCIES AND THE FEW REPORTING ON THIS OUT OF EUROPE, RUSSIA HAS ALREADY PLANNED SEPTEMBER "DRILLS" , PROBABLY TO MATCH WHAT NATO IS PLAYING OUT OVER THERE IN ROMANIA, POLAND, ESTONIA, LATVIA, LITHUANIA, AND UKRAINE.

THE USA AND BRITAIN, ALONG WITH OTHER EUROPEAN NATIONS, HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DRAW UKRAINE INTO NATO, AND THE U.S. SENDING AMERICAN NUCLEAR WEAPONS OUT OF TURKEY INTO ROMANIA....HUNDREDS OF THEM....WOULD MAKE ANY NATION NERVOUS, IF THOSE WEAPONS WERE AIMED AT THEM.

IN RESPONSE, RUSSIA IS MERELY GIVING THE WORLD A QUICK PEEK AT WHAT RUSSIA CAN ROLL UP TO THOSE SAME BORDERS WHERE AMERICAN 'BIG GUNS' ARE, WHERE AMERICA AND BRITAIN, ESPECIALLY, ARE ALLEGEDLY "GIVING SUPPORT TO FELLOW NATO NATIONS".

NOPE....THEY'RE SABER-RATTLING.
THEY'RE PLAYING A VERY DANGEROUS GAME OF "I'M KING OF THE HILL".
BUT THEY ARE NOT PLAYING ON THEIR OWN TURF, BUT, AS USUAL, ON FOREIGN SOIL, WHERE NO AMERICAN CITIES, NO BRITISH CITIES ARE IN THE LINE OF FIRE.

WHAT, THEN, DOES RUSSIA DO?

THE RUSSIAN BLACK SEA FLEET AND CASPIAN SEA FLOTILLA HAVE BEGUN A "SURPRISE COMBAT READINESS INSPECTION" IN A QUITE IMPRESSIVE SHOW OF FORCE.

AFTER ALL, WHAT WOULD AMERICA DO IF RUSSIA SENT NUKES TO, SAY THE CANADIAN OR MEXICAN BORDER?
WHAT WOULD BRITAIN DO IF EVEN THE U.S. AIMED NUKES IN ITS DIRECTION FROM, SAY, SCOTLAND, OR EVEN FROM FRANCE?

ONLY A FEW DAYS AGO,

"Fighter jets from NATO’s Baltic air policing mission have scrambled to intercept 22 Russian aircraft in multiple formations over the past week, including two of the largest interceptions over eastern Europe since tensions with Moscow began to rise 18 months ago.

In total, NATO aircraft have had to conduct emergency deployments on more than 250 occasions this year over Europe, NATO officials said — the highest number for an equivalent period since the end of the cold war."

JUST STOP TRYING TO INTIMIDATE RUSSIA, NATO MADMEN, OR EXPECT THE WORST.

MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, THE WORST IS WHAT THE OTHER "SUPER-POWERS" IN NATO WANT?

Drills will be held at 14 training ranges in the south of Russia as part of a combat readiness check that started in the Russian Armed Forces on August 25, the Defense Ministry’s press office said on Tuesday.

"Tactical and special tactics exercises are being held at 14 combined-arms training ranges of the Southern Military District with live-firing, the rehearsals of troops’ practical actions and training to counter a notional enemy’s subversive and reconnaissance groups, control exercises in the training subjects such as driving combat vehicles and tanks, firing, tactical, engineering, technical, medical and airborne drills," the Defense Ministry said in a statement obtained by TASS.

It was also reported that the Northern Fleet, the Aerospace Force and the Airborne Troops would be involved in the drills as well."

"Ground Zero in the New Cold War"

"Since the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014, Lithuanian and Russian residents on both sides of the border in this once peaceful corner of Europe have been witnesses to frequent shows of military force.

This month, both NATO and Russia flexed their muscles.

Lithuania’s Flaming Thunder 2016 drills brought together more than 1,000 ground troops to fire artillery and mortars.

On the other side of the frontier, Russia was reinforcing, too, in preparation for September’s large-scale drills by coastal forces, dwarfing the NATO contingent, at least in numbers.

Unlike Ukraine, Lithuania is a member of NATO, and Lithuanians are praying they’ll be protected under its wing.

So last month, when U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump suggested he might not rush to the country’s defense unless he judged it had paid its NATO dues, a collective shiver ran through Lithuania.

For the moment, the promise NATO has made to its three Baltic members—Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia—is a deployment of up to 4,000 troops in the region, clearly intended as a tripwire should the Russians make an overt move.
But that, in turn, is spun by Moscow as a provocation and perhaps even a threat to the Kaliningrad enclave: Russian territory that lies between Lithuania and Poland.

On the ground, meanwhile, people view the return to Cold War rhetoric and war games as a potential disaster.

“We hear airplanes over our heads and wonder whether it’s Russian pilots exercising to bring down NATO planes over our roof or it is our forces, which are now NATO, learning to shoot down Russian soldiers?” said Virgilijus, a civil engineer.
“We are worried that one day, when they actually decide to fire at each other, there will be nothing left of Lithuania.”
Virgilijus said he did not believe that the Kremlin was serious about invading Lithuania, and blamed politicians for the Cold War games.

Earlier this month about 50 volunteers from the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union had their own military exercises all over the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius.
“It is counter-intelligence training,” said the drill’s coordinator, Haroldas Daublyus, a buff middle-aged man wearing a baseball cap.
“The idea that we should defend ourselves is common in a lot of people’s heads,” said Daubylus.
“We are upset about what Trump says. He is betraying us all.”

In Nida, once home to the German novelist Thomas Mann, residents depend on tourism and hope for peace for their business to flourish.
But in Kaliningrad there’s a certain excitement about the way Putin is pressuring the Baltic Fleet to get in shape.
“The Kremlin makes us feel uncomfortable, threatens our security,” says Gintare Narkeviciute, the director for international affairs at the Ronald Reagan House, a think tank dedicated to promoting democracy and providing consultancy for Lithuanian state institutions. “They are not going to attack, this is psychological pressure.”

To some older Lithuanians, whose youth was spent in the Soviet Union, especially to those who frequently travel to Russia for business or leisure, the idea of militarization and potential war with the neighbor simply sounds wild.
“If we do not listen to news about constant war games all around us, it all seems the same peaceful Baltics; but then we visit our friends in St. Petersburg and they tell us that EU propaganda turns us into zombies…,” my fellow passenger on the bus, Agota Virgilijus, told me, letting the words trail off.

She looked outside at families packing their car trunks with baskets full of mushrooms and added: “The sun, the dunes, and Baltic Sea are the same on both sides of the border of the Curonian Spit,” she said. “And so are the mushrooms.”

WELL, THERE WE HAVE IT....SO FAR.

I LOVE MY COUNTRY, BUT THE WAR-MONGERING IDIOTS ON CAPITOL HILL AND THE OLD MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX THAT TRUMAN, WILSON, EISENHOWER, AND KENNEDY TRIED TO WARN US ABOUT ARE ITCHING FOR A FIGHT....
WHY?

BECAUSE WAR IS VERY PROFITABLE TO SOME VERY ELITE FOLKS.
WALL STREET LOVES WAR.
CORPORATIONS THAT FARM OUT TO THE FEDS LOVE WAR.

HAVE YOU NOTICED HOW MANY "WARS" AMERICA IS CURRENTLY INVOLVED IN, WHILE THINGS ON THE OLD HOME FRONT GO STRAIGHT DOWN THE SEWER?

OUR ECONOMY IS TANKING, WE HAVE TWO CRAZIES RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT, THE FEDERAL RESERVE IS ABOUT TO RAISE INTEREST RATES, OUR COSTS FOR PRESCRIPTION DRUGS HAVE TRIPLED THE PAST 2 YEARS, WE HAVE RIOTING, ALMOST DAILY, MOST OF THE WORLD IS SICK OF AMERICA'S FIAT DOLLARS AND WANT TO MOVE BACK TO A GOLD STANDARD... GOLD, WHICH WE DO NOT HAVE IN ENOUGH QUANTITY TO COMPETE, BUT, HEY, LETS ANTAGONIZE NOT JUST RUSSIA, BUT CHINA, IRAN, EVERYBODY!

LET'S PULL A "ROME" AND KEEP MILLIONS OF FIGHTING MEN AND WOMEN FAR, FAR FROM HOME UNTIL WE GO BELLY-UP BANKRUPT AND "HAVE TO DECLARE MARTIAL LAW", RIGHT?

THAT'S THE KIND OF BAT-GUANO INSANE PEOPLE WHO ARE RUNNING THIS ASYLUM WE STILL CALL THE UNITED STATES.....

WE'RE "UNITED" ALRIGHT....UNITED IN ECONOMIC AND SOCIETAL CATASTROPHE... AND APATHY, DON'T FORGET APATHY.

EVEN A MAN I ADMIRED STRICTLY FOR HIS MILITARY GENIUS STATED TIME AND TIME AGAIN THAT HE LOVED WAR.... GEORGE S. PATTON

MAYBE SO....AND THAT WORRIES ME....

AS NEWSWEEK PUT IT EARLIER THIS YEAR:
"Russia Practices Black Sea Naval Drill As NATO Bolsters Troops"

"Although being about a tenth of the size of larger drills held by Russia in previous months, the exercise was given much attention, with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu briefing Putin about the drill in a televised meeting on Thursday.

NATO has repeatedly criticized Russia for holding unannounced drills, especially near NATO borders. London-based think-tank the European Leadership Network issued a report in summer 2015 warning that NATO and Russia’s snap military drills increase the risk of an accidental conflict."

NATO'S AND RUSSIA'S....GET IT?
BOTH!

WE LIVE OVER WARS, SOME OF US DO, BUT MOST JUST DON'T LEARN, AND THOSE WHO NEVER LEARN.... PERISH.

THERE ARE NO UMBRELLAS FOR FALLING NUKES, MY FRIENDS.

PRAY WE NEVER SEE THAT KIND OF "RAIN"...
.

WAR WITH RUSSIA?
CHINA?
ANYONE?

MAY RUSSIA HAVE SANER HEADS THAN WE DO....

MOST DAYS, I TELL MYSELF...."OF WE JUST DIDN'T HAVE THESE *!^$@!@#*%$#@ "LEADERS", THESE MADMEN OVER US, MAYBE, POSSIBLY, WE'D ALL BE BETTER OFF, MAYBE GET ALONG, MAYBE EVEN SEE  THINGS AS WE SHOULD....WITH OUR OWN EYES, AND USE OUR OWN MINDS TO DECIDE THAT WE JUST DON'T NEED WAR ANYMORE?"

I CAN DREAM.
