ELONGATED SKULLS 
"The reasons for the elongated skulls are mostly a mystery.

The ritual is apparently quite old, as some scientists have found proof of the practice occurring thousands of years ago. And it is only recently that “modern society” stopped the practice, which is known to have been performed on infants in remote areas of France into the 20th century. Some remote areas of Polynesia continue to perform the practice on some of their newborns, such as in Vanuatu. Ancient elongated skulls have also been found in disconnected areas such as Africa, eastern Germany, native North American societies, Aboriginal Australians, and the Caribbean islands. 

Why Did People Create Long Skulls? 

Archaeologists continue to debate the origins of the practice. Some experts speculate that the babies who underwent the elongation process may have been of royalty or the highest social classes. Other researchers, however, theorize that the elongations may have been performed on all members of a tribe or culture to separate them from neighboring societies.

In contrast, a number of scientists, such as Johann Jakob von Tschudi, a 19th-century naturalist from Switzerland, believe that the elongated skulls existed naturally within certain populations, like the Huancas, for example. Tschudi indicated that there were a number of elongated skulls that showed no evidence of artificial manipulation. Additionally, the discovery of a seven-month-old mummified in-utero fetus with an elongated skull revealed natural causes. This resulted in an offshoot theory that perhaps some groups that did not possess the naturally elongated skulls desired to emulate those that did. Hence, they did so using artificial techniques."

MANY ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS SEEM FIXATED ON GOLD AND CRYSTALS AND BUILT LARGE CITIES AROUND LOCATIONS RICH IN GOLD. 
RITUALISTIC/RELIGIOUS OBJECTS WERE EITHER CARVED FROM PURE GOLD OR OVERLAID WITH GOLD. 

WHY GOLD WHEN IT IS A RATHER RARE ELEMENT AND DIFFICULT TO FIND AND MINE? 

ALL ACROSS AFRICA, ANCIENT KINGDOMS AND CITIES AROSE THAT TRADED IN GOLD.
"Few African civilizations are as mysterious as Punt. Historical accounts of the kingdom date to around 2500 B.C., when it appears in Egyptian records as a “Land of the Gods” rich in ebony, gold, myrrh and exotic animals such as apes and leopards. The Egyptians are known to have sent huge caravans and flotillas on trade missions to Punt—most notably during the 15th century B.C. reign of Queen Hatshepsut—yet they never identified where it was located.

Carthage was a North African commercial hub that flourished for over 500 years. The city-state began its life in the 8th or 9th century B.C. as a Phoenician settlement in what is now Tunisia, but it later grew into a sprawling seafaring empire that dominated trade in textiles, gold, silver and copper. At its peak, its capital city boasted nearly half a million inhabitants.

The Kingdom of Aksum, found in northern Ethiopia, was a trading juggernaut whose gold and ivory made it a vital link between ancient Europe and the Far East. The kingdom had a written script known as Ge’ez—one of the first to emerge in Africa—and it developed a distinctive architectural style that involved the building of massive stone obelisks, some of which stood over 100 feet tall.
 
GOLD COINS UNCOVERED FROM AKSUM DEPICT A VERY ODD-LOOKING FELLOW WITH LARGE EYES AND AN EARPIECE OF SOME SORT, REMINISCENT OF CAVE PAINTINGS AND CARVINGS OF SIMILAR BEINGS PICTURED ABOVE.

The Mali Empire dates to the 1200s CE/AD, when a ruler named Sundiata Keita—sometimes called the “Lion King”—led a revolt against a Sosso king and united his subjects into a new state. 
One legendary tale about the kingdom’s riches concerns the ruler Mansa Musa, who made a stopover in Egypt during a 14th century pilgrimage to Mecca. According to contemporary sources, Musa dished out so much gold during the visit that he caused its value to plummet in Egyptian markets for several years.   


AFRICA'S 'GREAT ZIMBABWE', CONTINUOUSLY INHABITED SINCE AT LEAST 700 TO 1000 CE/A.D., WAS SPORADICALLY INHABITED SINCE 300 BCE/BC. 
GREAT ZIMBABWE WAS ALSO CENTERED AROUND KNOWN GOLD DEPOSITS. ITS CONICAL TOWER IS MUCH LIKE OTHER OBSERVATION TOWERS FOUND ALL OVER THE WORLD. 

"One of the most impressive monuments in sub-Saharan Africa is the Great Zimbabwe, an imposing collection of stacked boulders, stone towers and defensive walls assembled from cut granite blocks.
The fortress city at the Great Zimbabwe was mysteriously abandoned sometime in the 15th century."

The Kingdom of Kush stood as a regional power in Africa for over a thousand years. This ancient Nubian empire reached its peak in the second millennium B.C., when it ruled over a vast swath of territory along the Nile River in what is now Sudan. Almost all that is known about Kush comes from Egyptian sources, which indicate that it was an economic center that operated a lucrative market in ivory, incense, iron and especially gold.

THOSE OF JUDEO-CHRISTIAN FAITH MAY RECALL THAT CUSH (ALSO SPELLED KUSH) WAS A SON OF NOAH, OF FLOOD FAME.
KUSH WAS THE FATHER OF NIMROD, WHO, ACCORDING TO SOME ANCIENT TEXTS, WAS A GIANT, AND WHO ALSO BUILT THE TOWER OF BABEL. 

"The Babylonians possessed several legends which have been received into the Old Testament, the most striking ones being the legend of the deluge, of the tower of Babel, of the destruction of corrupt cities by a rain of fire (reminding us of Sodom and Gomorrah), of the babyhood adventures of King Sargon I (reminding us of Moses), and of the creation of the world.

The name of Babel, which is in Assyrian bab-ilani, or bab-ilu, i. e. the Gate of God, is a Semitic translation of the Accadian 'Ka-dingirra-ki', with the same meaning; literally:
"Gate + of God + the place."

"Nimrod appears as a character in the mythology of many ancient cultures; he shows up in Hungarian, Greek, Arabic, Syrian, and Armenian legends (Often as a giant)."


CRYSTALS 
Homo Erectus Pekinensis: (c. 500,000 B.C) Quartz tools and numerous pieces of quartz crystal found with remains of 'Peking Man' in Zhoukoudian, Beijing.

 According to the original excavation report, more than 10,000 stone tools have been recovered since the site was first excavated in 1921. Forty-four different raw materials were used by the ancient inhabitants of the cave, and 89 per cent of this raw material is quartz. The remainder of the raw materials used includes 5 per cent rock crystal. 
 
In Europe rock crystal was occasionally used during the Mousterian in S/W-France (Les Merveilles and Laussel in the Dordogne, La Chapelle-aux-Saints and Chez-Poure in the Corrèze). Rock crystal Solutrean leaf points are known from Le Placard (Charente), and from the rock shelter of Badegoule (Dordogne). Rock crystal was also used during the Hungarian Epigravettian and during the Magdalenian at Zitny Cave in Moravia'. 

6,000 BC - Quartz crystals used in ritual burials, California. (2) Burials from the US 'Early horizon' have revealed a large number of quartz artefacts. Almost one-quarter of the burials have whole or fragmentary quartz crystals, sometimes in large numbers.

THOSE STRANGE, ELUSIVE ANUNNAKI

The earliest known usages of the term Anunnaki come from inscriptions written during the reign of Gudea (c. 2144 — 2124 BC) and the Third Dynasty of Ur.

In the earliest texts, the term is applied to the most powerful and important deities in the Sumerian pantheon: the descendants of the sky-god An.
This group of deities probably included the "seven gods who decree":
The seven were: An, Enlil, Enki, Ninhursag, Nanna, Utu, and Inanna.

In the standard Akkadian 'Epic of Gilgamesh' (c. 1200 BC) Utnapishtim, the immortal survivor of the Great Flood, describes the Anunnaki as seven judges of the Underworld, who set the land aflame as the storm approaches.[52] Later, when the flood comes, Ishtar (the East Semitic equivalent to Inanna) and the Anunnaki mourn over the destruction of humanity.

DARE WE IMAGINE THAT THE ENTIRE WORLD WAS HALLUCINATING OR IN SOME DRUGGED STATE AND THAT SUCH THINGS, SO OFTEN RECORDED, DIDN'T EXIST?
