FUKUSHIMA:. ABE'S SILENT NUCLEAR WAR GOES ON.

Above, 2015; below, 2018.

ANOTHER TSUNAMI WOULD WASH ALL THOSE RADIOACTIVE TANKS INTO THE PACIFIC.

Local Fury and Health Concerns as Japan Plans to Dump a Million Tons of Radioactive Fukushima Water Into Ocean

One nuclear specialist argued that the Japanese government's reported plan "cannot be considered an action without risk to the marine environment and human health"

NO, HUNDREDS OF NUCLEAR SPECIALISTS HAVE SAID THE SAME THING!
The media 'buries' those who speak out against it.

Abe even put a gag order on the press, on physicians who were speaking out about children's cancers there, calling such information "state secrets" and had laws passed mandating jail time for any who ignored the gag order.

He stopped testing children for cancer.

One document the Telegraph obtained from the government body charged with responding to the 2011 Fukushima disaster reportedly indicates that the Japanese government is perfectly aware that the Advanced Liquid Processing System (ALPS) is failing to eliminate radioactive materials from the water stored at the Fukushima site, despite its claims to the contrary.

Last September, the Telegraph notes, "Tepco was forced to admit that around 80 percent of the water stored at the Fukushima site still contains radioactive substances above legal levels after the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry held public hearings in Tokyo and Fukushima at which local residents and fishermen protested against the plans."

The water that has been treated through the ALPS system, the levels of strontium 90 have been found to be 100 times above the safe levels. And in some tanks, these levels are as high as 20,000 times the levels designated safe by the government. According to the Telegraph: “ALPS has consistently failed to eliminate a cocktail of other radioactive elements, including iodine, ruthenium, rhodium, antimony, tellurium, cobalt and strontium.”

Shaun Burnie, a nuclear specialist with Greenpeace, argued that even so-called "safe" levels of tritium are harmful to humans and marine life.

"Its beta particles inside the human body are more harmful than most X-rays and gamma rays," Burnie told the Telegraph, adding that there "are major uncertainties over the long-term effects posed by radioactive tritium that is absorbed by marine life and, through the food chain, humans."

NONE OF THESE TANKS ARE SMALL.

There was over a million tons of radioactive water onsite as of 2018.

Report: Japan Plans to Flush Radioactive Fukishima Water ...

ABOVE: SOME OF THE MILLIONS OF BAGS OF RADIOACTIVE WASTE SEEN ALL ACROSS NORTHERN JAPAN, NO PLACE TO SAFELY STORE THEM.

The bags are flimsy and not designed to contain radioactivity.
Some are piled in school yards, some in former parks and apartment parking areas.

TODAY:
Four United Nations human rights experts on Tuesday (Monday in the western hemisphere) urged the Japanese government against rushing to discharge radioactive water from the Fukushima nuclear plant into the sea until consultations are made with affected communities and neighboring countries.

"We are deeply concerned by reports that the Government of Japan has accelerated its timeline for the release of radioactive wastewater into the ocean without time or opportunity for meaningful consultations," the experts said in a press release.

The experts are imploring the government to delay its decision on releasing the radioactive water until after the coronavirus pandemic has been contained, so proper attention can be dedicated to the issue.
The concern was raised as public consultations on the release of the plant's wastewater have been accelerated, and opinions will be solicited by next Monday. Such consultations were initially scheduled until after the now-postponed Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The experts -- U.N. special rapporteurs respectively on hazardous wastes, rights to food, rights to assembly and association, and rights of indigenous people -- took note of credible indications that the postponement of the games sped up the government's decision-making process.

With the pandemic also preventing in-depth consultations with relevant stakeholders, the rapporteurs called on the Japanese government to give "proper space and opportunity for consultations on the disposal of nuclear waste that will likely affect people and peoples both inside and outside of Japan."

[Not to mention MARINE LIFE.]

"COVID-19 must be not be used as a sleight of hand to distract from decisions that will have profound implications for people and the planet for generations to come," they said, raising the alarm that a discharge will pose a grave threat to the livelihoods of local fishermen.

Abe and TEPCO will use whatever they can to shirk their responsibilities to the WORLD on a safe, thorough, efficient cleanup and long-term SAFE disposal of this hellacious nuclear mess their lax and greed created.
They simply put profit over human and animal and ALL life.

I call it "Abe's Silent Nuclear War", because each new day, that cursed abomination spews radiation into the atmosphere, the environment, the Pacific Ocean and causes death upon death, either soon or in the near AND distant future.

If you look at the Tea Room's posts over the years since Fukushima's meltdowns irradiated all of us, you'll see my utter disdain and disrespect for how the Abe regime and accursed TEPCO have handled this, with ALL nuclear "regulatory" agencies aiding and abetting this CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY.

Russia handled Chernobyl and offered to handle Daiichi, but Abe won't allow it.

Abe, as FOUR former prime ministers have said LIED about the safety of holding the Olympics in Tokyo, LIED about the cleanup, LIED about the dangers to those whom his regime is FORCING back into radioactive villages and homes and LIED about the safety of foods grown/raised/fished there.

A fourth former prime minister, Morihiro Hosokawa, said in an interview published on November 12 that Abe's nuclear energy policy was a "crime" and that he was willing to campaign against it.

Surveys published in the Asahi and Mainichi newspapers found 60% and 54% of respondents respectively agreed that Japan should aim to go nuclear-free.

TEPCO LIED FROM DAY 1 AND WON'T STOP LYING.

Fukushima Has Been Leaking Radioactive Water Since May, But Tepco Didn't Tell Anyone

Face of government in Fukushima aftermath blasts Abe

Obviously, they aren't blasting hard enough.
The international community should call upon Shinzo Abe to demonstrate the safety of the area around the Fukushima Dai'ichi nuclear power plant by moving there himself, by moving his entire family there, and by requiring all Japanese political officials to also move there and hold all their governmental sessions in Fukushima prefecture.

Shinzo Abe's silent nuclear war against the world goes on.

I have nothing but contempt for those NOT properly handling this mass-murder, this crime against humanity.
