CDC: “At No Time Has CDC Guidance Suggested that Masks Were Intended to Protect the Wearers”
Earlier this week the CDC confirmed that mask wearing was ineffective and over 50% of US coronavirus cases were patients who were habitual mask wearers.
Six months ago Dr. Robert Redfield told the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee that healthy people should not wear face masks.
In September Redfield changed his tune.
Then in October, he (CDC) changed it back to Tune #1.
CDC: "85% of COVID-19 patients report ‘always’ or ‘often’ wearing a mask. Americans are wearing masks, but masks aren't working."
A recent meta-analysis and scientific review — which focused on randomized controlled studies rather than observational ones — found that, compared to no mask, mask wearing in the general population or among health care workers did not reduce influenza or influenza-like illness cases.
One study found U.S. states with universal mask mandates saw a 2% reduction in growth rates of positive COVID-19 tests compared to states that did not mandate masks.
Another investigation shows mask rules have had nothing to do with infection rates after all, as no matter how strict the mask rules and how high the compliance, cases have risen and fallen around the same time.
Mainstream media, publishing mostly OPINION pieces and NOT ACTUAL INVESTIGATIVE NEWS, have completely given up on their journalistic duty.
They can see that the studies don't support mandatory masks, but damned if they're going to report that!

This is the simple, scary math that Harvard epidemiologists Marc Lipsitch and his colleague Yonatan Grad have tried to convey in a series of recently published papers: If each person infected with COVID-19 disease in turn infects three more, as we now think, then in order to bring the disease to heel, Grad says, two of those people must already be immune. “If one person can only spread the disease to one other person, the virus is no longer an epidemic,” he says.
HERD IMMUNITY IS OUR ONLY REAL HOPE.
The mode of transmission is how a pathogen moves from place to place. This can occur through four principle routes:
1- Contact transmission, which is further divided into (Siegel, et al., 2007):
-- Direct transmission occurs when microorganisms are transferred from one infected person to another person without a contaminated intermediate object or person.
Opportunities for direct contact transmission between patients and healthcare personnel.
2-- Indirect transmission.
3-- Droplet transmission.
4-- Airborne transmission.

Renowned Immunologist and Cell Biologist Dipyaman Ganguly on Thursday said that one of the only hopes in defeating the novel coronavirus in the country is by developing ‘herd immunity.’
Speaking to News18, Ganguly said, “This coronavirus is not going anywhere. Viruses don’t go anywhere.
They may become weak but its strand remains. The virus will keep infecting people until a large population develops immunity against it.”
A policy review paper published in Emerging Infectious Diseases in May 2020 — the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's journal — also found no evidence to support universal mask wearing as a protective measure in non-health care settings. According to the authors:
"Although mechanistic studies support the potential effect of hand hygiene or face masks, evidence from 14 randomized controlled trials of these measures did not support a substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza …
Disposable medical masks (also known as surgical masks) are loose-fitting devices that were designed to be worn by medical personnel to protect accidental contamination of patient wounds, and to protect the wearer against splashes or sprays of bodily fluids …
There is limited evidence for their effectiveness in preventing influenza virus transmission either when worn by the infected person for source control or when worn by uninfected persons to reduce exposure.
Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza … In this review, we did not find evidence to support a protective effect of personal protective measures or environmental measures in reducing influenza transmission."
Another meta-analysis and scientific review — which focused on randomized controlled studies rather than observational ones and was led by respected researcher Thomas Jefferson, co-founder of the Cochrane Collaboration — posted on the pre-publication server medRxiv in April 2020, found that, compared to no mask, mask wearing in the general population or among health care workers did not reduce influenza-like illness (ILI) cases or influenza.
In one study, which looked at quarantined workers, it actually increased the risk of contracting influenza, but lowered the risk of ILI. They also found there was no difference between surgical masks and N95 respirators.

AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED...PEOPLE RELIED ON THE LEAKY, INEFFECTIVE CLOTH MASKS AND THE VIRUS CANNOT BE STOPPED BY THOSE.
IT IS NOT MERELY TRANSMITTED BY MOUTH/NOSE.
THE VIRUS CAN ENTER THROUGH EYES, BY HAVING DROPLETS LAND IN HAIR, ON CLOTHING, ON SKIN, ON SHOES, ON SURFACES LIKE PURSES, PHONES, BRIEFCASES, GAS PUMP HANDLES, DOOR HANDLES, PACKAGING OF FOOD ITEMS (AND OTHER PACKAGES), ON PRODUCE, ON MONEY, AND IT'S EVEN BEEN FOUND ON PACKAGES OF FROZEN FOODS.
INITIALLY, CHINA TRIED TO DECONTAMINATE EVERYTHING THE PUBLIC TOUCHED.
THEY FAILED.

WHAT IT TAKES IS BEYOND OUR ABILITY TO DO.
THAT'S WHY WORLD POWERS USE VIRUSES AS BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS...THEY ARE VIRTUALLY UNSTOPPABLE.

MASKS ARE NOT A SOLUTION.
HERD IMMUNITY, WHETHER BY A VACCINE THAT IS MORE THAN 50% EFFECTIVE, OR BY NATURAL INFECTION/RECOVERY IS THE BEST WE CAN HOPE FOR.
TO IMAGINE THAT THIS "COVID" IS PREVENTABLE BY MASKS IS ILLOGICAL, VERY DANGEROUS AND VERY BAD SCIENCE.
