Nearly 1,700 Suspected Child Sex Predators Arrested During Operation “Broken Heart”
"The Department of Justice today announced the arrest of almost 1,700 suspected online child sex offenders during a two-month, nationwide operation conducted by Internet Crimes Against Children task forces. The task forces identified 308 offenders who either produced child pornography or committed child sexual abuse, and 357 children who suffered recent, ongoing or historical sexual abuse or were exploited in the production of child pornography."

"79 charged with child porn, preying on kids in 'Operation Safety Net', New Jersey"
"TRENTON - An Air Force officer, youth minister and a police officer were among 76 adults and three juveniles arrested on charges they preyed on children, including the possession or distribution of child pornography.

Dozens of local, county and state agencies coordinated to arrest suspects from all 21 of New Jersey's counties, according to an announcement from the Office of the Attorney General.

The arrests came at the end of a nine-month operation the state named Operation Safety Net

"We charged 10 men with hands-on predatory conduct against children, including attempted interstate trafficking of children for sex, sexual assault, luring, sending obscene images to a child, or manufacturing child pornography," Attorney General Christopher Porrino said in a prepared statement. "These cases highlight the fact that child pornography is a continuum of deviant behavior that often leads to or drives other sex crimes."

Nearly 900 members of a global ‘dark web’ pedophile ring sprawling Europe and the Americas have been arrested following a two-year investigation, the FBI and Europol reported after the website’s founder was handed a 30-year jail sentence. 

Shedding light on the scope of the operation which is still active, the FBI revealed that in the US alone, 350 arrests were made as part of a wide-ranging investigation into "Playpen" – a secret website that is being referred to as possibly the biggest child pornography online dump that ever existed.

Playpen’s founder, Steven W. Chase, 58, was sentenced Monday to 30 years behind bars. The site he set up in August 2014 boasted some 150,000 users worldwide until it was taken down by the FBI following a controversial covert operation.

An Internet pedophile ring with up to 70,000 members...
The investigation was led by Britain's Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center.
Five Americans among 184 arrested; 230 abused children taken to safety.

Peter Davies, of the center, said there would be more arrests as the investigations continue.
"Those who have been members of the site can expect a knock on the door in the very near future," he said.

In Britain, police said, the children involved were aged between 7 and 14.

Australian Federal Police commander Grant Edwards said suspects arrested in Australia ranged in age from 19 to 84 and used the Internet to "prey on children with anonymity, with subterfuge and with camouflage."

"Children," Edwards said, "should be able to use the Internet safely, without fear of being approached or groomed by these online predators."

How much of the population 'has' pedophilia?    
No one seems to be entirely sure, but the estimates are around one-percent of the male population, and less in the female population. There have been no large scale studies, no large treatment programs, no big research done on this. The National Institutes of Health don’t spend any money on pedophilia.  WHY NOT, IF IT'S A 'DISORDER' AND NOT A CHOICE? 

The author of the above article, besides stating her opinion that people are "born with pedophilia", also stated, "People choose to sex offend children. They do not choose to be pedophiles. We need to treat pedophiles before they offend."

The prevalence of pedophilic disorder is unknown, but the highest possible prevalence in the male population is theorized to be approximately three to five percent. The prevalence in the female population is thought to be a small fraction of the prevalence in males.
An estimated 20 percent of American children have been sexually molested, making pedophilia a common paraphilia. The U.S. Department of Justice has found that only about 3 percent of child molesters commit another sex crime within three years of being released from prison. Meta-analysis of hundreds of studies confirms that once they are detected, most convicted offenders never sexually reoffend. (Not all sex offenders who victimize children are pedophiles; only about 40 percent of convicted sex offenders meet the diagnostic criteria for the disorder.)The prognosis for reducing pedophilic desire is difficult to determine, as longstanding sexual fantasies about children can be difficult to change. 'Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood believes young actors are being sexually abused by predatory 'vipers' in the industry. The Hobbit actor, 35, told The Sunday Times that the child abuse is 'probably still happening'.

Anne Henry, co-founder of Bizparentz - a group to help young actors - said that Tinseltown is currently sheltering around '100 active abusers'. Henry believes that around three quarters of child actors that 'went off the rails' later in their life had been abused in Hollywood.'
“Clearly something major was going on in Hollywood. It was all organized. There are a lot of vipers in this industry, people who only have their own interests in mind,” said Wood. “There is darkness in the underbelly. What bums me about these situations is that the victims can’t speak as loudly as the people in power. That’s the tragedy of attempting to reveal what is happening to innocent people: they can be squashed, but their lives have been irreparably damaged.” 

Oliver Thring, the author of the Sunday Times article delves into the history of pedophilia in Hollywood, quoting Corey Feldman who, in 2011, gave a frank account of the abuse he had witnessed as a young actor.

“The No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is—and always will be—pedophilia,” Feldman said, adding that by the time he was 14 he was “surrounded” by molesters."

"80 arrested, 274 charges laid in massive Ontario-wide child porn bust"

"Ontario Provincial Police, with help from law enforcement partners in Canada and the United States, have charged 80 people with 274 criminal offences in connection to a massive province-wide internet child pornography investigation.

Police say 174 search warrants were conducted this week leading to the arrests, including one youth, with more to come.

“80 per cent of the images involve children under the age of 12. 80 per cent involve girls and 50 per cent involve sexual assaults,” said Lianne Macdonald from the Canadian Centre for Child Protection.During the investigation, which involved 27 law enforcement agencies across Ontario including the Canadian Forces and United States Homeland Security, police say they also recovered drugs and weapons.

--IN ANOTHER CANADIAN OPERATION, 2013: NBC NEWS:

"Nearly 400 children have been rescued and 348 adults arrested following an expansive and “extraordinary” international child pornography investigation, Canadian police announced Thursday.

Investigators catalogued hundreds of thousands of images and videos of “horrific sexual acts against very young children, some of the worst they have ever viewed,” Inspector Beaven-Desjardins said at the press conference.

Police seized over 45 terabytes of data from the $4-million business that distributed to over 50 counties including Australia, Spain, Mexico, Sweden and Greece.

As a result of the investigation thus far, 50 people were arrested in Ontario, 58 in the rest of Canada, 76 in the United States, and 164 internationally.

What was most alarming, Inspector Beaven-Desjardins said, was that many of the arrests were of people who worked with or closely interacted with children.

The three-year project, named Project Spade, began when undercover officers with the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation service made contact with a Toronto man allegedly sharing “very graphic images” of child sexual abuse in Oct. 2010, Toronto Police Service Chief William Blair said at a press conference on Thursday.

Police said their investigation revealed an entire child movie production and distribution company in Toronto.

The site was run by 42-year old Brian Way, according to police."


IT'S THE CRIME THAT MAINSTREAM MEDIA DOESN'T LIKE TO TALK ABOUT BECAUSE SO MANY IN 'HIGH PLACES' HAVE BEEN CHARGED WITH THIS CRIME, INCLUDING THOSE IN MAINSTREAM MEDIA.

THE RECENT CASE OF JEFFREY EPSTEIN IS DISTURBING, TO SAY THE LEAST, AND THE NAMES IN HIS ALLEGED "LITTLE BLACK BOOK" MAY BE SHOCKING AND UNBELIEVABLE TO SOME (SEE THAT LIST BELOW NEAR THE END OF THIS BLOG**) BUT THAT WAS BY NO MEANS THE FIRST AND WON'T BE THE LAST HIGH-PROFILE CASE TO POINT A FINGER AT MEN, AND SOME WOMEN, IN VERY HIGH PLACES.    


Hundreds of investigations around the world have linked high-ranking officials, politicians and aristocrats to pedophilia, child pornography and sex-trafficking rings throughout modern history.

But, how many major news media have consistently, over time, raised questions about why the 'authorities' have simply not tackled the issue of child sex abuse long enough and seriously enough to get more convictions or why we almost never see politicians, celebrities, the very wealthy and/or powerful go to trial for their offenses?

We see MSM championing causes every day that pale in comparison to the fact that our children have become prey to child molesters.
How is it possible or rational that sports or celebrities get more press than children?

How many journalists have hammered at such things until those 'elite' criminals were prosecuted?

There have been the brief flurries, a day or two of headlines, shock, outrage, and then silence again until the next time.

In May of 2018, another flash-in-the-pan investigation by NBC, Washington, announced "More Cases of Federal Workers Watching Porn on the Job Uncovered", and stated,
"Using the Freedom of Information Act, the News4 I-Team obtained investigative records from a dozen federal agencies to gather a sampling of recent cases of computer misuse by employees. The sampling revealed at least 50 cases of large-scale or criminal pornography viewing at those 12 agencies since 2015, including several in which employees acknowledged spending large chunks of work days surfing for pornography.

The I-Team searched ONLY for cases investigated by internal agency inspectors general, which tend to include ONLY large-scale or unlawful pornography viewing discovered inside offices. Several of the cases involved workers eventually arrested and prosecuted for using government computer devices to view child sex images."

TO ME, IT WAS AS THOUGH THE NATION SHRUGGED AND SAID, "OH, WELL, EVERYBODY'S DOING IT."


THEN THERE ARE THE NAMES THAT ALWAYS SEEM TO BE  'ABOVE THE LAW', WHO ARE ACCUSED, OFTEN BY MULTIPLE VICTIMS, BUT NEVER FACE TRIAL OR PUNISHMENT.

FOR EXAMPLE, THE STORY THAT SEEMED TO TOP ALL OTHERS...
THE HEADLINE READ...

"The story began, many journalists say now, on Feb. 28 that year, 1989, with what appeared to be a routine raid by D.C. police and the U.S. Secret Service on a house in the 6000 block of 34th Place NW. Sources have told reporters that the primary purpose for the raid by D.C. police was to investigate a male prostitution call service.
The Secret Service, which investigates most credit card fraud, was there to determine whether operators of the prostitution service were using customers' card numbers illegally.

After the raid, the house remained cluttered with stacks of documents, furniture and an odd variety of carved, stuffed and miniature elephants -- believed to be the collection of one of the tenants. When U.S. marshals came to evict the tenants' belongings, the owner and her lawyer, Marc Moskowitz, promised some reporters a chance to rummage through the debris. In many cases, Moskowitz agreed to give reporters access to the house if they would not mention the owner's name.
Three months after the raid, after U.S. marshals swept furniture and belongings onto the sidewalk, Moskowitz gave reporters the walk-through. When the journalists saw documents -- pages from ledgers, a diary, pornographic pictures or toys -- he said they could take them. Reporters hauled paper away in boxes.
CBS News carried a brief item, and after the Times broke a story about a Secret Service investigation of one of its own agents' giving a midnight White House tour to lobbyist Craig Spence, the story fluttered onto the national stage once again."

Senator John W. DeCamp, a Republican state senator from Nebraska who served 16 years in that capacity, often stated that G.H.W. Bush should be investigated for both drug-running and sex crimes against children.

In 1992, DeCamp wrote a mass market paperback book titled The Franklin Cover-up: Child Abuse, Satanism, and Murder in Nebraska in which he alleged that the Franklin child prostitution ring allegations were actually true and involved murder.


WHAT WAS THE CONNECTION TO BUSH?

George Bush and Larry King were linked in multiple ways, including [media-discredited] eyewitness reports placing Bush at King's sex parties. 
The Washington Times obtained hundreds of credit card receipts, canceled checks, and a list of Vinson’s clients, which indicate that U.S. congressmen patronized Vinson’s 'escort service'. This corroborates Vinson’s account, not the government’s. Vinson also says that he informed federal authorities about the pedophile ring allegedly operated by King and Spence, and that Spence had disclosed that their enterprise was affiliated with the CIA.

All of his statements to federal authorities are, however, unavailable."I’ve been told that over 25,000 documents were sealed," saID reporter Rodriguez."We’ve attempted to unseal those documents on two occasions, but were rebuffed. We’ve been told,'It will be a cold day in hell’ before those documents are ever unsealed."

Larry King, manager of Omaha, Nebraska's Franklin Credit Union, incarcerated for related criminal convictions, was appointed for the 1984 Republican National Reagan/Bush Presidential reelection campaign as "Chairperson for the Black Voters for the Campaign" and "Chairmanship of the National Black Republican Council, Development Committee for Fund Raising". He sang the National Anthem at the 1984 and 1988 Republican National Conventions. 

THE WHITE HOUSE "SEX TOURS" AND INVESTIGATION OF LAWRENCE KING LED TO THE "FRANKLIN CREDIT UNION SCANDAL" WHICH LED TO THE UNCOVERING OF A CHILD SEX RING IN NEBRASKA THAT USED CHILDREN FROM 'BOYS TOWN' AND OTHER FOSTER CARE INSTITUTIONS THAT WERE ALLEGED TO PROVIDE CHILDREN TO CLIENTS FOR SEX.
KING WAS ALLEGEDLY PART OF THIS RING.

KING WAS ALSO LINKED TO THE IRAN-CONTRA SCANDAL AND DRUG-RUNNING FROM NICARAGUA.
BUSH WAS HEAD OF THE CIA AND FREQUENTED NICARAGUA QUITE OFTEN. AS WE NOW KNOW, THE CIA WAS BACKING THE CONTRA REBELS THERE AND CONGRESS INVESTIGATED THE CIA FOR ALLOWING DRUG SMUGGLING BY THOSE 'REBELS', PERHAPS EVEN ASSISTING THEM. .


TED GUNDERSON, EX-FBI SPECIAL AGENTTed Gunderson was one of the loudest voices calling for deeper investigation into everything connected to all this. He retired from the FBI in 1979, and he had devoted his life to helping those least able to fend for themselves...victims of child sexual predation.Gunderson was an FBI 'Special Agent In Charge' and head of the Los Angeles FBI. According to his son, he worked the case of Marilyn Monroe and the John F. Kennedy case. 
Ted had interviewed many of the children in the Franklin case.

Oddly, the FBI has an extensive file on Gunderson which can be viewed <HERE>.

Paul Bonacci was one of several under-aged victims of sexual abuse and forced prostitution who has described in detail in several recorded interviews, including one with Gunderson,  about being dragged to Washington for use as a sex toy for Larry King's clients.

Bonacci told investigators he was in one of the private White House tours for young male prostitutes conducted by lobbyist Craig Spence, a close political associate of Larry King in the cloak-and-dagger Contras enterprise and a man who was allowed into the White House after midnight. 

Spence and Henry Vinson, proprietor of the largest gay escort service in Washington, D.C., were both also involved with King and his sex service business.

“I visited Spence’s home on many occasions and saw all his blackmail equipment,” Vinson told reporter Nick Bryant. “King and Spence transported children all over the country. They both talked about bringing the boys in from Boys Town, and they arranged for influential people in Washington to be flown to the Midwest to meet these kids. But they preferred to have the pedophiliac parties at Spence’s home, because of the blackmail equipment"

Vinson was indicted after the 'White House Male Prostitution Ring Scandal" but the judge barred his clientele list from being entered into record, Vinson lives under a gag order to never reveal names and that list remains sealed "in perpetuity" as three investigators have found when blocked from seeing it.

BIG NAMES on the list, that's why.  

Craig Spence turned up dead in a Boston hotel room later in 1989, soon after his and King's "compromising" business was exposed in that Washington Times June 29, 1989 story, headlined: "Homosexual Prostitution Inquiry Ensnares VIPs with Reagan, Bush."
His death was also ruled a suicide.

Eighty children initially came forward as a result of newspaper publicity of the D.C. raid and subsequent stories in the local news. In Nebraska, children identified some of the most prominent citizens in the Omaha area as involved, including then Omaha Chief of Police, Bob Wadman; former Omaha World Herald newspaper publisher, Harold Andersen; Eugene Mahoney, former Omaha vice squad officer and later head of the Nebraska Forestry Service (he has a park named after him); former Omaha World Herald entertainment columnist, Peter Citron; Alan Baer, Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben, Financier; and Omaha County Judge Theodore Carlson. The children who came forward reported, among other things, satanic ceremonies of human and animal sacrifice. These testimonies helped lead investigators to King...and his association with Bush. King had started that Franklin Credit Union and had stolen tens of millions from it. He had a history of pedophilia.

WHY? TOO MANY NAMES 'ABOVE THE LAW'? 

Larry King, a 'rising star' in the GOP, was convicted of embezzling over $38 million from Franklin Community Federal Credit Union (FCFCU) in Omaha, and served 10 years of a 15-year prison sentence.

One of his accusers, Alisha Owen, was then accused and convicted of perjury and given a 15-year sentence. She did not get off as easily as King. Her brother was found hanging in his jail cell. She was released in 2000.

That's right, one of the female victims who spoke out was sent to prison for 15 years for perjury, while King received 15 but did only 10 years for crimes involving $38 million and was never convicted in the child prostitution ring, nor were any other officials. On November 9, 1990, Alisha Owen’s brother was found dead in a correction center cell, said to have committed suicide by hanging. 
Another witness, Troy Boner, recanted after his brother, Shawn Boner, also died, allegedly, of suicide by a 'Russian Roulette' gunshot wound on January 17, 1991. Troy told John De Camp, attorney for some of the witnesses, that his brother would never do such a thing as he was very afraid of guns. Boner later left the Omaha area and disappeared.
Danny King, another of the four witnesses who testified, also disappeared.   
SEVENTY-SIX CHILDREN WHO REPORTED SEXUAL ABUSE RECANTED OR REFUSED TO COOPERATE WITH THE INVESTIGATION BEFORE THEY WERE CALLED TO TESTIFY. 

"Following the dire consequences to the remaining four victim/witnesses Alisha Owen, Paul Bonacci,Troy Boner and Danny King, the seventy-six other children recanted their reports of sexual abuse in the Franklin matter."

Think back to articles back during the Iran-Contra scandal which questioned Bush's relationship with such a heinous dictator, like this one from 1988 in the New York Times, which glossed over those strange meetings:  "Bush and Noriega: Examination of Their Ties"


The first investigative reporter to ever look into Franklin, the World Herald's James Flanery, told associates that King was "running guns and money into Nicaragua," and that the CIA was heavily involved. (Flanery was soon taken off the story and shipped out of state for a year.)

Records exist to show that Larry King was a top contributor to a Contra "support committee," the Citizens for America (CFA). King's own public relations firm was also used by the Contras.

On September 11, 1996, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Representative Harold James, chairman of Pennsylvania's Legislative Black Caucus, and a former undercover narcotics cop himself, also put out a call for an investigation on drug-running. In the course of that press conference a well-known name popped up: George H.W. Bush.

James charged, in his release to the press, "previous investigations of the Iran-Contra scandal, particularly the U.S. House and Senate joint hearings in 1987, revealed the central role played by then Vice-President George Bush in covert intelligence operations. . . . One of Bush's key lieutenants was Lt. Col. Oliver North. Bush was also appointed by Reagan to run the National Narcotics Border Interdiction System, which supposedly coordinated efforts of all federal, state and local anti-drug agencies, especially along the south Florida coast. Bush was responsible for the White House anti-drug effort while, at the same time, according to the recent newspaper reports, tons of cocaine were allegedly supplied to street gangs by CIA-related networks."

Concluded James, "There's something wrong with this picture."
In response to a question from one of the ten reporters in attendance about the role of Bush, Philadelphia City Council President John Street replied, "If George Bush is involved in it, someone should find it out. This kind of activity has been going on for well over a decade."

CONNECT THE DOTS! 

DESPITE NUMEROUS CALLS FOR REOPENING BOTH THE WHITE HOUSE SCANDAL REGARDING MIDNIGHT TOURS AND THE FRANKLIN PEDOPHILE CASE, IT HAS NOT BEEN DONE, NOR IS IT LIKELY TO BE.

THE NAMES THAT MIGHT COME OUT IN SUCH AN INVESTIGATION ARE PROBABLY TOO WELL KNOWN.

Think back to the headlines when the Reagan/Bush1 White House was implicated in the scandal of under-aged kids being provided to many in Washington through Boys Clubs, perhaps even by DHS, kids in foster care facilities, children flown into D.C. and elsewhere for the fleeting pleasure of well-known men.

Almost before the ink dried, Secret Service officers and others were out that morning, snatching up those Washington Times newspapers before they could be sold.

Although most of the papers hit the streets, it barely created a ripple in the minds of most Americans.

Then it was the usual, cover it up, hide it, be quiet, mention no "party" names, no political or Wall Street names, no Hollywood moguls or sports 'heroes', just do damage control and  wait for things to die-down, as they always have, as they do now.
At best, find some 'nobody' to throw under the bus so the whole thing appears to be over and justice APPEARS to be served.

When it looked like the Wikileaks-released documents and ensuing joke of an investigation into the Podesta 'Pizzagate' emails (BTW, TONY PODESTA WAS A LONG-TIME CLOSE FRIEND TO ANOTHER WELL-KNOWN CONVICTED PEDOPHILE.) and Weiner's sexual escapades with under-aged girls, his 'sexting' them while lying next to his young son in bed, the media instantly began to ridicule anyone who called for further investigations.
Wikileaks was targeted as the 'bad guy', MSM began blaming Russia, China, anyone but the guilty for the whole sordid mess, which was all dropped like a red-hot rock, with no one with real authority demanding more be done to get to the bottom of it all.

30,000+ private emails were erased from a private server and we'll never know what was in those, but there WERE hints.

Hillary Clinton’s lawyers used a special tool called BleachBit to delete emails from her personal server so that “even God can’t read them,” U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy said during investigations.

“It's arson. It's pyromania. It's not smoke. Even listening to her talk about the Clinton Foundation, I couldn't help but go back and remember the press conference she gave on her emails where every single thing she said proved to be false,” Gowdy said. “That’s the interesting thing about credibility and believability: You can't just keep it in one compartment. When you are a habitual, serial liar in this facet of life, it tends to make people not believe you in other facets of life. So when she’s talking about the Clinton Foundation, I go back and remember her saying there’s no classified information, I only used one device, I did it for convenience. All of which were proven to be false.”

WHAT could have been so deserving of such a complete 'scrub' that there would be no trace of what Hillary called personal emails about her daughter's wedding and yoga?

It was all very embarrassing for the Democrats, and, perhaps, also too close for comfort for those in the top ranks of the GOP.

It isn't just Democrats who have been charged with sex crimes.

Several politicians from both sides of the 'aisle', as well as Pentagon officials, Secret Service agents, FBI and CIA agents, DHS/HHS employees, just about every agency in our federal government has been 'investigated' repeatedly over time for 'at least' child pornography.


IN SEPTEMBER 2010, this made brief headlines:

"Pentagon declined to investigate hundreds of purchases of child pornography"  

"A 2006 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) investigation into the purchase of child pornography online turned up more than 250 civilian and military employees of the Defense Department -- including some with the highest available security clearance -- who used credit cards or PayPal to purchase images of children in sexual situations. But the Pentagon investigated only a handful of the cases, Defense Department records show.

The cases turned up during a 2006 ICE inquiry, called Project Flicker, which targeted overseas processing of child-porn payments. As part of the probe, ICE investigators gained access to the names and credit card information of more than 5,000 Americans who had subscribed to websites offering images of child pornography.

In a related inquiry, the Pentagon's Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS) cross-checked the ICE list against military databases to come up with a list of Defense employees and contractors who appeared to be guilty of purchasing child pornography. The names included staffers for the secretary of defense, contractors for the ultra-secretive National Security Agency, and a program manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. But the DCIS opened investigations into only 20 percent of the individuals identified, and succeeded in prosecuting just a handful.


The Boston Globe first reported the Pentagon's role in Project Flicker in July, citing DCIS investigative reports (PDF) showing that at least 30 Defense Department employees were investigated.

But new Project Flicker investigative reports obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, which you can read here, show that DCIS investigators identified 264 Defense employees or contractors who had purchased child pornography online. Astonishingly, nine of those had "Top Secret Sensitive Compartmentalized Information" security clearances, meaning they had access to the nation's most sensitive secrets.

All told, 76 of the individuals had Secret or higher clearances.

But DCIS investigated only 52 of the suspects, and just 10 were ever charged with viewing or purchasing child pornography.

Without greater public disclosure of how these cases wound down, it's impossible to know how or whether any of the names listed in the Project Flicker papers came in for additional scrutiny. It's conceivable that some of them were picked up by local law enforcement, but it seems likely that most of the people flagged by the investigation did not have their military careers disrupted in the context of the DCIS inquiry."


Add Hollywood celebrities, sports figures, members of the clergy, school teachers and college professors, law enforcement officers in several states, judges, 'scout' leaders, daycare workers...the list seems endless of those who prey on our children.

A number of FBI Agents have been arrested by the police for being pedophiles.

--Aug 27, 2010: An FBI employee, Samuel Kaplan, has been arrested for possessing child porn. The police discovered over 100 images on his computer. This week, he was sentenced to four years in prison for the aforementioned crimes.

"A local former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent arrested on child pornography charges filed a petition to enter a guilty plea.

Donald Sachtleben was arrested in May 2012, following an investigation into the distribution of child pornography. Authorities said they were able to trace online activity back to Sachtleben’s Carmel home.

Sachtleben, a Northwestern University graduate, worked for the FBI from 1983 until his retirement in 2008. He faces five to 20 years in prison and up to $500,000 in fines."


--In another case, ex-FBI Agent, William Hutton, was arrested for molesting Boy Scouts. One of the children who accused him of molestation, was found dead shortly after Hutton was charged, resulting in the case being dismissed. Prosecutor John A. Danaher III moved to dismiss the indictment on Dec. 19, and Judge Mark R. Kravitz granted the motion three days later, federal court records show.

TOP BRASS ACCUSED OF SEX CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN:

NSA (National Security Agency) Lt. Col General Michael Aquino
On August 14, 1987, San Francisco police raided Michael Aquino's Russian Hill home, which he shared with his wife Lilith. The raid was in response to allegations that the house had been the scene of a brutal rape of a four-year-old girl. The principal suspect in the rape, a Baptist minister named Gary Hambright, was indicted in September 1987 on charges that he committed "lewd and lascivious acts" with six boys and four girls, ranging in age from three to seven years, during September-October 1986.

At the time of the alleged sex crimes, Hambright was employed at a child care center on the U.S. Army base at Presidio. At the time of Hambright's indictment, the San Francisco police charged that he was involved in at least 58 separate incidents of child sexual abuse.

According to an article in the October 30, 1987 San Francisco Examiner, one of the victims had identified Aquino and his wife as participants in the child rape. According to the victim, the Aquinos had filmed scenes of the child being fondled by Hambright in a bathtub. The child's description of the housE was so detailed that police were able to obtain a search warrant. During the raid, they confiscated 38 videotapes, photo negatives, and other evidence that the home had been the hub of a pedophile ring, operating in and around U.S. military bases.

Aquino and his wife were never indicted in the incident. Aquino claimed that he had been in Washington at the time, enrolled in a year-long reserve officers course at the National Defense University, although he did admit that he made frequent visits back to the Bay Area and to his church/home. The public flap over the Hambright indictment did prompt the U.S. Army to transfer Aquino from the Presidio, where he was the deputy director of reserve training, to the U.S. Army Reserve Personnel Center in St. Louis.

On April 19, 1988, the ten-count indictment against Hambright was dropped by U.S. Attorney Joseph Russoniello, on the grounds that, while there was clear evidence of child abuse (six of the children contracted the venereal disease, chlamydia), there was insufficient evidence to link Hambright (or the Aquinos) to the crimes. Parents of several of the victims charged that Russoniello's actions proved that "the Federal system has broken down in not being able to protect the rights of citizens age three to eight."

Russoniello would later be implicated in efforts to cover up the links between the Nicaraguan Contras and South American cocaine-trafficking organizations, raising deeper questions about whether the decision not to prosecute Hambright and Aquino had "national security implications."

Indeed, on April 22, 1989, the U.S. Army sent letters to the parents of at least 56 of the children believed to have been molested by Hambright, urging them to have their children tested for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), because Hambright, a former daycare center worker, was reported to be a carrier.

On May 13, 1989, the San Jose Mercury reported that Aquino and his wife had been recently questioned by Army investigators about charges of child molestation by the couple in two northern California counties, Sonoma and Mendocino. A 9-year-old girl in Santa Rosa, California, and an 11-year-old boy in Fort Bragg, also in California, separately identified Aquino as the rapist in a series of 1985 incidents, after they had seen him on television.

In 1987, the US Army demolished a child care center at its Presidio base in Northern California just one year after as many as 60 children were sexually abused there, according to the Associated Press.

In 1990 a continuation board of the Army Reserve recommended discontinuing Aquino's service in the Reserve, and he was processed out of the Army.

HAD CARADORI LIVED AND PRESENTED HIS NEWFOUND EVIDENCE, WE MIGHT HAVE SEEN REAL JUSTICE FOR THE CHILDREN INVOLVED.

"Caradori was considered a “very competent pilot,” said a Lincoln man familiar with Caradori’s flying. He asked not to be identified. “He flew out of (Lincoln) on a regular basis.”

‘Mayday’

Bivins said Caradori radioed from his plane that “he was having trouble with some equipment aboard, a compass.”
“Shortly thereafter we have indications that he called in a ‘mayday’ and then his plane went down. It was lost on radar,” Bivins said from Dixon, Ill.

The sheriff said he did not know whether Caradori was communicating with one or two agencies at the time – Midway Airport in Chicago, his point of origin, or regional Federal Aviation Administration air traffic controllers in Aurora, Ill.

State Sen. Loran Schmit of Bellwood, chairman of the Franklin legislative committee, told The Associated Press in Lincoln that he had no doubt there were people who wanted to see Caradori dead." 

Another report stated: 
"On July 9, 1990, Gary Caradori had flown with his 8-year old son, Andrew James, or A.J., from Lincoln, Nebraska to Chicago, Illinois to attend that years’ All-Star baseball game. Sources connected to an on-going investigation that Caradori was conducting for the State of Nebraska, however, suggest that Caradori’s trip may also have been a cover to obtain crucial information he had developed for his investigation while in Chicago: highly incriminating picture. On the evening of July 10, 1990, Caradori and his son attended the baseball game, which lasted until approximately midnight of that evening. After the game, they took off in a Caradori’s single engine Piper Saratoga airplane from Chicago’s Midway airport, at almost 2 AM the following morning, July 11, for the flight back to their home in Nebraska.

Approximately one hour later, near the cornfield of farmer Harold Cameron, Caradori’s plane crashed, with the debris stretching over a mile. Cameron himself stated that he had heard the sound of an airplane over his farm, and then an explosion, and had driven around his property looking for the crash. 

The plane had come apart in the air. Two years later, the National Transportation Safety Board admitted that the wings of Caradori’s plane had been snapped off due to stress."

After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, 'missionaries' attempted to spirit away 33 "orphaned" children...except these children were not orphans at all, and many of them had families in Haiti. In the end, Laura Silsby of the New Life Children's Refuge was found guilty of child trafficking. She was sentenced to time served.

Last year, Monica Petersen, Assistant Director at the Human Trafficking Center in Colorado, traveled to Haiti on a lead looking into sex trafficking in Haiti.

This week, Monica Petersen was found dead of an apparent suicide.

At her memorial service, her boss revealed that she had spent two years investigating human trafficking in Haiti, and had "decided to take on one of the demagogues" in the field.
At Monica’s memorial her teacher, Professor Claude d’Estrée made the following statement: “(She) decided to take on one of the demagogues in the field of human trafficking. Produced a 110-page analysis of human trafficking in Haiti – 2 years of research. We were looking for someone who was smart enough and maybe brave enough to publish her work. We will continue to seek out and publish it for her. We are in a state of shock. We may never know what exactly happened to her.”

Before her death, Monica sent her friend this online message: “[…] the real significance of this scandal for me, I know you feel me [redacted], is the link to contemporary slavery and trafficking. I can’t say to what extent, but there is human trafficking happening through the Clinton’s Caraol Complex. And mining has always been historically linked to trafficking, slavery, and labor exploitation. I’d like to go see for myself who’s laboring at Morne Bossa, but I would hypothesize that the Dominicans are doing the contractual oversight of the mining, while marginalized Haitians are being exploited for low or no cost labor in dangerous mining conditions. That’s two huge human trafficking scandals, an environmental degradation scandal, a social displacement scandal, a Presidential election scandal, a scandal with billions in unaccounted for earthquake aid… all leading directly back to the Clintons racist cronyism in Haiti.”

Some have alleged the Clinton Foundation was at the center of corruption within the earthquake relief effort. Others have alleged that Bill Clinton used his influence to get Laura Silsby a light sentence.

Many of the Wikileaks Clinton emails mention Laura Silsby in connection with the Clinton Foundation going all the way back to 2000.

An internal message was found in the Wikileaks e-mail dump, where those close to Hillary warned about her brother’s operation in Haiti.

A British man who traveled to Poland to give a lecture on conspiracy theories was found dead in a Warsaw apartment. He was conducting an investigation into alleged pedophilia that took place in a U.S. Army-run facility in San Francisco nearly 30 years ago. (PRESIDIO)

Max Spiers, a 39-year-old father of two, was found dead on a sofa in Poland.

Spiers was looking into the Presidio affair and Michael Aquino's role, which he believed to be part of a larger underground movement that entailed ritual sexual abuse of children in San Francisco in the late 1980s, according to the UK Daily Express.

Shortly before his death, Spiers told Polish YouTube channel PorozmawiajmyTV that he was digging into the story and that his life may be in danger as a result.

His mother, Vanessa Bates, also feared for his life.

In a chilling text message to Vanessa just days before his death, Max wrote: 'Your boy's in trouble. If anything happens to me, investigate.'

A post-mortem examination was carried out by a pathologist in Kent, but Vanessa says that more than two months later she still does not know the result, or whether there will be an inquest."

Liz MacKean, the former British investigative reporter best known for exposing Jimmy Savile and the culture of pedophile protection at the BBC, died IN 2017 from "complications from a stroke". She was 52. (Her death was reported by the BBC, the very same company who blocked her investigation from airing and spent years trying to destroy her reputation.)
Dismissed by the establishment as mad and dangerous, MacKean was finally vindicated when the truth about Savile’s pedophilia eventually came out in 2012, a full year after MacKean first tried to bring his notorious crimes to light.

A former police detective-turned-investigative author has been found dead, just days after publishing a book that exposed a high-level government pedophile ring.
58-year-old Mark Minne was found with a bullet to his head on August 14, but many are refusing to believe the "official" police version - that he committed suicide at his friend's farm near the coastal city of Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

His book details the corruption within the last Apartheid government of South Africa and implicated officials all the way to the top, including defense minister Magnus Malan and the minister of environmental affairs John Wiley.

Best known for his investigative research on the Clintons, Thorn wrote the Clinton trilogy—three definitive works that delved into the history of the power couple including sordid scandals, Bill Clinton’s sexual assaults of multiple women, and the drug running out of Mena, Arkansas while Clinton was governor of the state.

"The allegations—which centre around the suggestion that politicians of all parties and other VIPs preyed on children at a guest house in the London suburb of Barnes—have been given greater credence because in the past two years a string of national figures have been exposed as predatory pedophiles.

Most notoriously of all, Sir Jimmy Savile, a BBC children’s television presenter feted by the Royal Family and Downing Street, abused 450 victims, mostly boys and girls as young as eight over 50 years.

While Savile had long been seen as odd, the scale of his offenses shocked the country, not least because he was allowed special access to hospitals and the authorities laughed at or ignored his victims, before he died a national hero. An ensuing police inquiry, Operation Yewtree – which has arrested 18 TV presenters, comedians, disc jockeys and other showbusiness associates – last month jailed fellow BBC children’s presenter Rolf Harris for indecent assaults dating back decades, on girls as young as 8.

Into this febrile atmosphere, Tom Watson, a Labour Party lawmaker, told the House of Commons in October 2012 that police should “investigate clear intelligence suggesting a powerful pedophile network linked to Parliament and Number 10.” Newspaper columnists suggested Watson – whose campaigning on phone hacking contributed to the downfall of the Prime Minister communications director Andy Coulson ­– was stoking a “witch-hunt.” But as a result of Watson and online news agency Exaro’s investigations, Scotland Yard launched Operation Fernbridge, an inquiry into the now-notorious Elm Guest House.

One confirmed visitor through its front door was Cyril Smith, a jovial 406-pound Liberal MP who was shown after his death to have been a serial abuser of boys at a local authority care home in his home town of Rochdale.

A year ago Lord Brittan, the Home Secretary to whom Dickens handed his dossier, told reporters he could not recall anything about it. But last week following the intervention of another campaigning MP in Parliament, Lord Brittan issued a statement remembering that he had received the dossier and had asked his officials to study its contents. Over the weekend it emerged that Lord Brittan had been interviewed as a suspect in the rape of a 19-year-old in 1967; an allegation he dismissed as “wholly without foundation.”

On Monday, Home Secretary Theresa May announced an inquiry into the failures of the authorities to protect children. To the dismay of many, she then said it would be led by Dame Butler-Sloss, a respected family judge but also the sister of the late former Attorney General Michael Havers, who was passed a copy of the Dickens dossier, and who decided not to prosecute a diplomat for exchanging obscene material with members of a pro-pedophilia group.

More high-profile prosecutions of pedophilia may shock the country; according to one whistleblower, allegations of sexual abuse have been made against 20 VIPs. Much will hinge over the next two years on the new inquiry, which, conveniently for politicians, will not be public until after the 2015 general election.

For now the scandal is likely to increase the public’s jaundiced view about politics and public life in the UK."


** BIG NAMES IN THAT LITTLE BLACK BOOK **

"Pedophile Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein's Little Black Book", says the headline, and indeed, there are several names revealed in it, but not a one of them has been charged or even hauled in for questioning, to my knowledge.

Epstein's former house manager Alfredo Rodriguez tried to sell this 'book' in 2009. About 50 of the entries, including those of many of Epstein's suspected victims and accomplices are circled.

The website "Gawker", rather like the old ragsheet known as the 'National Enquirer', published some of the names other information was redacted.

Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Donald Trump, John Kerry, Tony Blair, Henry KIssinger, Saudi Arabia's Prince Salman, the Duke and Duchess of York, Prince Andrew, former UK MP Philip Dunne, Rupert Fairfax who was secretary to the Prince of Wales, Edward Koch, Michael Bloomberg, Rupert Murdoch, David Frost, Steve and Sabine Forbes, Courtney Love, Barbara Walters, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Ambassador and Lady Fairweather, Princess Firyal of Jordan, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Katie Ford of the modeling agency by that name, Alec Baldwin, Ralph Fiennes, Griffin Dunne, New York Post gossip Richard Johnson, Ted Kennedy, David Koch, filmmaker Andrew Jarecki, and all manner of other people you might expect a billionaire to know, turned up in court proceedings after Epstein's former house manager Alfredo Rodriguez tried to sell it in 2009. About 50 of the entries, including those of many of Epstein's suspected victims and accomplices as well as Trump, Love, Barak, Dershowitz, and others, several of whom were circled by Rodriguez without explanation.

Bill Clinton shared Epstein's plane with two female associates of Epstein—the socialite Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein's former assistant Sarah Kellen on at least 11 flights in 2002 and 2003—before any of the allegations against them became public—according to the pilots' logbooks, which have surfaced in civil litigation surrounding Epstein's crimes.
In January 2002, for instance, Clinton, his aide Doug Band, and Clinton's Secret Service detail are listed on a flight from Japan to Hong Kong with Epstein, Maxwell, Kellen, and two women described only as "Janice" and "Jessica." One month later, records show, Clinton hopped a ride from Miami to Westchester on a flight that also included Epstein, Maxwell, Kellen, and a woman described only as "one female." 

In 2002, as New York has reported, Clinton recruited Epstein to make his plane available for a week-long anti-poverty and anti-AIDS tour of Africa with Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, billionaire Ron Burkle, Clinton confidant Gayle Smith (who served on Barack Obama's National Security Council), and others. The logs from that trip show that Maxwell, Kellen, and a woman named Chauntae Davis joined the entourage for five days.

Other prominent figures whose names appear in the logs, which document globe-spanning flights on Epstein's planes during various periods from 1997 to 2005, include Dershowitz, former Treasury Secretary and Harvard president Larry Summers, Naomi Campbell, and scientist Stephen Pinker.

The logs also cast doubt on public statements made by Dershowitz, who has been vigorously downplaying his relationship with Epstein since Roberts levied her accusations against him. Dershowitz has attempted to paint himself as a mere passing acquaintance of Epstein.

But according to the flight logs, Dershowitz was close enough to Epstein to have accompanied him on a flight from Palm Beach to New Jersey's Teterboro Airport as early as December 1997. On that flight, the pair was accompanied by a number of people, including one unidentified "female," a "Hazel," a "Claire," and Maxwell.

The logs also show Dershowitz on a flight with Epstein from Bedford, Mass., to Teterboro in October 1998, and a flight from Teterboro to Martha's Vineyard in 1999. And a 2005 trip from Massachusetts to Montreal shows him traveling with Epstein, "Tatianna," and others.


NOT A CLOSE FRIEND?
SLATE QUOTED Dershowitz once saying of Epstein: "I'm on my 20th book. . . . The only person outside my immediate family that I send drafts to is Jeffrey  [Epstein]."


PRINCE ANDREW'S DENIAL
Also known in Britain as "Randy Andy", the playboy prince, etc, this is not the prince's first accusation of sexual misconduct.
That both he and Courtney Love were listed in Epstein's little book should remind us that it has been confirmed by Buckingham Palace that, YES, Andrew had once paid a nocturnal visit to Love's house, admittedly, but it was six years ago.

Photos of Andrew and Epstein together clearly show there was a close connection there.
Then there's the Prince's colorful love-life. In the decade since his divorce from Sarah Ferguson, observers have noted that Andrew is known to have had relationships with at least 15 different women.The New York Post reported in 2011 that Epstein and Prince Andrew celebrated the registered sex offender's release from jail with a party at Epstein's $50 million East 71st Street mansion. There are other photos of the pair as well.

In addition to the names above, as well as scores of apparent underage victims in Florida, New Mexico, California, Paris, and the United Kingdom listed under the rubric of "massage," the circled entries also include:
-Billionaire Leslie Wexner
-Former New Mexico Governor Bruce King
-Former New Mexico Governor and Democratic presidential hopeful Bill Richardson
-Peter Soros, the nephew of George Soros
-Former Miss Sweden and socialite New York City doctor Eva Andersson Dubin

Rodriguez, who spent 18 months in prison, died in December after a long illness and never spoke out about the address book, so the precise significance of the names he circled remains fuzzy. But the FBI's case against him makes clear that Rodriguez regarded the address book as crucial to understanding Epstein's crimes; during a conversation with an undercover FBI agent posing as a potential buyer, he "discussed in detail the information contained in the book, and identified important information" to the agent.

AND FROM THOSE CONVERSATIONS, WE LEARNED THAT THERE WERE OTHERS, ROUGHLY HALF OF OUR SMALL CLASS OF 70+ STUDENTS HAD EXPERIENCED AT LEAST ATTEMPTS BY "PILLARS OF THE COMMUNITY" TO MOLEST US AS CHILDREN.

ALMOST ALL OF US HAD REPORTED THESE ATTEMPTS AND/OR ACTUAL MOLESTATIONS TO PARENTS AND SOME PARENTS HAD CONTACTED LAW ENFORCEMENT OR ATTORNEYS, ONLY TO BE TOLD BY THEIR CHILDREN THAT SOME OF THOSE THEY REPORTED TO WERE THE PERPETRATORS.
ONLY ONE MAN WAS EVER ARRESTED AND WE LIVED IN CONSTANT FEAR.

BOTTOM LINE...NO MATTER WHO IT IS, IF A CHILD TELLS YOU THE NAME OF SOMEONE WHO HAS TOUCHED THEM INAPPROPRIATELY OR MADE LEWD REMARKS TO THEM, LISTEN!

FOR GOD'S SAKE, FOR THE SAKE OF THAT CHILD, LISTEN, AND DO SOMETHING!
IT SHOULDN'T MATTER IF THE ONE WHO IS DOING TERRIBLE THINGS IS A FAMILY MEMBER, A CLOSE FRIEND, A TEACHER, COACH, MINISTER, LAW ENFORCEMENT OR JUDGE!

--MICHAEL AQUINO:
For those who don’t know, Michael Aquino was a Psychological Warfare Specialist in the US Army from 1968 until 1990, when he was involuntarily discharged as a result of investigations into his involvement in the ritual sexual abuse of children at the Presidio Day Care Center in San Francisco.

1967 – Michael Aquino began a two-year tour of duty in Vietnam, taking part in the infamous Phoenix Program. The Phoenix Program was an assassination/torture/terror operation that was initiated by the CIA, with the aim of ‘neutralizing’ the civilian infrastructure that supported the Viet Cong insurgency in South Vietnam.

1980 – According to sworn testimony given before a US Senate in later years, MKULTRA mind-control victim Cathy O’Brien claimed that she was programmed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, in 1980 by Lt. Col. Michael Aquino of the US Army. She stated that Aquino used barbaric trauma techniques on both her daughter Kelly and herself that involved NASA technology. Cathy O’Brien claimed that she was a ‘presidential model’ Monarch sex slave.

1987 (August 14) – As part of the Presidio investigation, a search warrant was served on the residence of Lt. Col. Michael Aquino and his wife Lilith, and numerous videotapes, photographs, photo albums, photographic negatives, cassette tapes, and address books were confiscated. Also observed during the search was what appeared to be a soundproof room that may have been used as a torture chamber.--ANTHONY WEINER, HUSBAND OF HILLARY CLINTON'S CLOSE FRIEND, ASSOCIATE AND AIDE HUMA ABEDIN.

Former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner, husband of Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff when she was secretary of state, and Vice Chair of Hillary’s 2016 Campaign for President, recently completed serving prison time for sexting with a 15-year-old girl. Weiner’s laptop contained 340,000 emails, with a significant amount of them being between Hillary and Huma.

On page 294 of the IG report, it states: "Initial analysis of laptop – thousands emails, Hillary Clinton & Foundation, crime against children."

The FBI also released a document indicating “Anthony Weiner; Producers of Child Pornography” with a blanked out box below it. Note that “producers” is plural. They also stated that a significant number of the 340,000 emails were between Huma Abedin and Hillary Clinton.


On page 303 of this report, the case agent, being the only one that had the authority to release the laptop, stated his concerns over no one contacting him:
“
The crickets I was hearing was really making me uncomfortable because something was going to come crashing down….And my understanding, which is uninformed because…I didn’t work the Hillary Clinton matter. My understanding at the time was I am telling you people I have private Hillary Clinton emails, number one, and BlackBerry messages, number two. I’m telling you that we have potentially 10 times the volume that Director Comey said we had on the record. Why isn’t anybody here? Like, if I’m the supervisor of any CI squad in Seattle and I hear about this, I’m getting on with headquarters and saying, hey, some agent working child porn here may have [Hillary Clinton] emails. Get your ass on the phone, call [the case agent], and get a copy of that drive, because that’s how you should be. And that nobody reached out to me within, like, that night, I still to this day, I don’t understand what the hell went wrong. 


--On Paul Bonnacci:

1999 (February 5) – In US District Court in Lincoln, Nebraska, a hearing was held in the matter of Paul A. Bonacci v. Lawrence E. King, a civil action in which Bonacci charged that he had been ritualistically abused by King as part of a nationwide pedophile ring that was linked to powerful political figures in Washington and to elements of the US military and intelligence agencies.

During the hearing, Noreen Gosch, whose twelve-year-old son Johnny had been abducted in 1982, provided the court with sworn testimony linking US Army Lt. Col. Michael Aquino to the nationwide pedophile ring. She stated:


“Well, then there was a man by the name of Michael Aquino. He was in the military. He had top Pentagon clearances. He was a pedophile. He was a Satanist. He's founded the Temple of Set. And he was a close friend of Anton LaVey. The two of them were very active in ritualistic sexual abuse. And they deferred funding from this government program to use [in] this experimentation on children.

Where they deliberately split off the personalities of these children into multiples, so that when they're questioned or put under oath or questioned under lie detector, that unless the operator knows how to question a multiple-personality disorder, they turn up with no evidence.

They used these kids to sexually compromise politicians or anyone else they wish to have control of. This sounds so far out and so bizarre I had trouble accepting it in the beginning myself until I was presented with the data. We have the proof. In black and white."

Paul Bonacci, who was a victim of this nationwide pedophile crime syndicate, subsequently identified Aquino as the man who ordered the kidnapping of Johnny Gosch.

Three weeks after the hearing, on February 27, Judge Warren K. Urbom ordered Lawrence King to pay $1 million in damages to Bonacci.

Haitian activist Dahoud Andre has been leading protests outside the Clinton Foundation headquarters in Manhattan and Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign base in Brooklyn for the last two years.

He said protesters from his small activist group, the Committee to Mobilize Against Dictatorship in Haiti, will continue to level their allegations if the Democratic candidate wins the White House.

Mr Andre is not alone among his compatriots in blaming the once-and-perhaps-future first couple for a litany of ills in Haiti.

Kim Ives, editor of Haiti Liberte newspaper, told the BBC: "A lot of Haitians are not big fans of the Clintons, that's for sure." "The fact the Clintons kind of took over things after the earthquake and did a pretty poor job of it translates to why the Haitians have a pretty dim view of them," he added.

Some $13.3 BILLION (£10.9bn) was pledged by international donors for Haiti's recovery.

Mr. Clinton was appointed co-chairman of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission.

Mr Clinton's own office at the UN found 9% of the foreign aid cash went to the Haitian government and 0.6% to local organisations.
The bulk of it went to UN agencies, international aid groups, private contractors and donor countries' own civilian and military agencies.

For example, the Pentagon billed the State Department hundreds of millions of dollars for sending US troops to hand out bottled water and keep order on the streets of Haiti's ravaged capital, Port-au-Prince.
