HYPOCRISY OF CALIFORNIA'S BALLOT-HARVESTING CHARGE AGAINST GOP

Drop 'em off...

Have them harvested...

In 2016, Arizona enacted HB 2023, which specified that no one other than a family member, household member or caregiver can return a voter’s ballot, and made it a felony for others to do so.

The Arizona law making it a felony in most cases to collect an early ballot was challenged in federal court before the 2016 election, and blocked by an appeals court.
The U.S. Supreme Court stepped in and allowed the law to be enforced.

Also in 2016, California enacted AB 1921, which says a “vote by mail voter who is unable to return the ballot may designate ANY other person to return their ballot.”

In 2018, Montana voters approved a legislatively referred ballot measure to limit any person to collecting and conveying six voted ballots.
Montana was the latest state to pass an anti-ballot harvesting law when voters approved a referendum last month. Al Olszewski, a Republican state senator, said he proposed the ban after two of his constituents in northwestern Montana complained of pushy ballot collectors coming to their homes.

NOW, IT APPEARS THAT CALIFORNIA DEMOCRATS DO NOT WANT THE GOP TO RETURN BALLOTS FOR ANYONE.

The Sacramento Bee reported,
"In a press conference with California Attorney General Xavier Becerra on Monday, Secretary of State Alex Padilla** said the state had filed a cease and desist order with the CA GOP and local Republican parties in Fresno, Orange and Los Angeles Counties.

“Let me be clear: unofficial, unauthorized ballot drop boxes are not permitted by state law,” Padilla said.
"Such ballot boxes are not permitted under the state elections code, and the only legal drop boxes are those deployed and maintained by county elections officials."

[ALL OF WHICH ARE DEMOCRAT-CONTROLLED SINCE CA IS WELL KNOWN AS A DEMOCRAT STATE.
IT WAS CALIFORNIA THAT GAVE HILLARY HER 2 1/2 MILLION VOTES OVER TRUMP. AS SNOPES ADMITTED, HAD SHE NOT HAD OVER 4 MILLION VOTES IN CA, SHE WOULD HAVE ALSO LOST THE POPULAR VOTE.]

"While ballot collecting IS permitted in California,
Padilla said voters must authorize collectors
, and the collectors must sign the envelopes and state their relationship to the voter. Unofficial drop boxes do not constitute ballot collecting, he said, because there is no identified person that is authorized by the voter to take their ballot to be counted.

WHO, EXACTLY, IS THE "AUTHORIZED AGENT" FOR EACH DEMOCRAT-CONTROLLED DROP-BOX?

IS THE USPS THE "AUTHORIZED AGENT" WHEN VOTERS DROP OFF BALLOTS THERE?

DID THE GOP VOTERS AUTHORIZE THEIR BALLOTS BEING HARVESTED BY DEMOCRAT PARTY HARVESTERS?
NO.

"But state Republicans disagree. Hector Barajas, spokesperson for the CA GOP, said the unofficial ballot boxes are permitted under the state’s ballot-collecting — sometimes called ballot-harvesting — laws.

“In California, where you can have convicted felons and individuals with a criminal history go door to door and collect ballots from voters, Democrats are now upset because [GOP] organizations, individuals and groups are offering an opportunity for their friends, family, and patrons to drop off their ballot with someone they know and trust,” Barajas said in a statement. “The Democrat anger is overblown when state law allows [Democrat] organizations, volunteers or campaign workers to collect completed ballots and drop them off at polling places or election offices.”

Barajas, with the California Republican Party, said state law does not specify which type of containers could be used in ballot collecting. He noted that the state’s Democrat-controlled Legislature changed the law to allow mass ballot harvesting in 2016.

“The Democrats amended the law to remove all of the restrictions on who can harvest ballots and provided no rules about how ballots can be collected except that someone cannot be compensated per-ballot,” he said.
“The (California Republican Party’s) program goes above and beyond, is less coercive and more secure than other methods of collecting ballots.

Barajas said the party has no intention of removing the drop boxes. Attorney General Becerra said Monday those who don’t comply could face prosecution.

“The way Democrats wrote the law, if we wanted to use a Santa bag, we could. A locked, heavy box seems a lot safer,” he said.

The Fresno County Republican Party was among the organizations that posted and promoted unauthorized ballot boxes.

Fred Vanderhoof, chairman of the Fresno GOP, said they are removing the boxes and taking all ballots turned in at those sites to county elections officials. That had always been their intention, Vanderhoof said, and they had thought their plans were allowed under California’s ballot collection law.

“Democrats are allowed to engage in ballot harvesting, but Republicans are not allowed to ballot harvest,” Vanderhoof said.

“We hope the message goes out loud and clear to anyone who is trying improperly solicit, obtain and manage a citizen’s vote, that they are subject to prosecution for engaging in activity against the law,” Becerra said.

The locations — which included at least half a dozen gun shops, a gas station and the Fresno GOP headquarterswere previously listed on the local Republican party’s website.

Fresno Republicans promoted the locations as a reliable way to make sure REPUBLICAN votes count."

DEMOCRATS WANT TO MAKE SURE THEY DON'T, OBVIOUSLY.

TOTAL STRANGERS CAN GO DOOR-TO-DOOR AND LITERALLY STEAL BALLOTS FROM UNSUSPECTING VOTERS AND HAVE DONE SO IN THE PAST, BUT PEOPLE WHO ARE KNOWN TO VOTERS CAN'T PROVIDE THE EXACT SAME SERVICE THAT THE DEMOCRATS IN 'CALIFORNICATION' HAVE USED FOR YEARS?

"Although most states have policies regulating voters' ability to designate another individual to return their ballot, the policies can vary drastically. Still, some states do not have any policy regarding third-party ballot returns. That's where ballot harvesting comes in.

What is Ballot Harvesting?

To increase voter participation, various organizations in multiple states have made active and coordinated efforts to collect absentee voters' ballots during elections. Then they drop them off at polling places or election offices.

This practice, known as ballot harvesting, has been effective and, unsurprisingly, has generated controversy.

Some see the practice of ballot harvesting as a voter service that has long-assisted elderly voters and Native American voters living on remote reservations. Others see it is a political tool that can easily lend itself to fraud.

Most states in the U.S. do not require a voter to provide a reason why the voter cannot make it to a polling place on election day. These "no-excuse" states will mail a paper ballot to voters upon request. Voters can then fill out the ballot and send it back to the election office.

Other states require voters to fulfill specific requirements before the voter is eligible to receive an absentee ballot. In the state of Arkansas, for example, voters are only eligible for an absentee ballot if they are "unavoidably absent" from their polling site by being:
Ill
--Physically disabled
--Serving in the armed forces or a dependent family member of someone who is serving
--Temporarily living outside of the U.S. during an election
--Mail-in Voting

There are currently three states in the U.S. that conduct state and federal voting by mail-in ballot:
-Washington
-Oregon
-Colorado

Hawaii will start doing its elections via mail with the 2020 primary elections

In these states, election ballots are automatically mailed to registered voters a few weeks before the election. Voters can then fill out their ballots and deposit them in a nearby ballot mailbox before the election. In some regions, individuals other than the voters are legally allowed to submit voter's ballots, which lends itself to ballot harvesting.

Is Ballot Harvesting Legal?

Although ballot harvesting is legal in some states, it is illegal in others.

However, some of the same tactics are used both in states where ballot harvesting is legal and where it is illegal.

This leads ballot harvesting to generate controversy, praise, and criticism from people across the political spectrum. Some practices that are uniformly illegal across the nation include:
-Filling out a ballot for another voter
-Intimidating a voter into voting for or against a candidate
-Influence a voter's decision

In practice, ballot harvesting does tend to increase the number of votes tallied within a given election without much controversy. However, voting laws vary significantly from state to state, and small differences in voting law can significantly impact an election.
California Laws on Ballot Harvesting

California voters can legally "designate any person to return [their] ballot to the elections official from whom it came or to the precinct board at a polling place within a jurisdiction."

ISN'T THAT WHAT GOP VOTERS DID WHEN THEY PLACED THIR BALLOTS IN THOSE GOP COLLECTION BOXES?
DIDN'T THEY OBVIOUSLY WANT DEMOCRATS' HANDS KEPT OFF THEIR BALLOTS FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE?

Both Republican and Democratic organizations took advantage of this law in the 2018 elections, but Democrats appeared to prioritize ballot harvesting more than their Republican counterparts and were able to take over many offices that were previously controlled by Republicans."

HOW HAS BALLOT HARVESTING WORKED TO THE DEMOCRATS' ADVANTAGE?

In California’s farm belt, Republican Rep. David Valadao had a lead of more than 7 percentage points over Democrat T.J. Cox on Election Day, with double-digit leads in three of the four counties that make up the 21st District. But Cox declared victory this week after winning 56 percent of the votes counted after Election Day.

The Associated Press had declared Valadao the winner on election night. However, the AP retracted its call on Monday, after Cox took the lead.

Suspicious Republicans have pointed a finger at the state’s dominant Democratic Party, suggesting the changes intentionally left Republicans at a disadvantage.

Whether Democrats have a clear edge is debatable.

What’s not is that vote counts in California now routinely stretch long beyond Election Day. A stunning five million ballots, or more than 40 percent of the overall total, were counted after Nov. 6. Some counties are still tabulating ballots."

I HAVE A QUESTION FOR CALIFORNIA DEMOCRATS.
WHY DID YOU REFUSE A RECOUNT WHEN ...

"Bernie Sanders Wins California Landslide
BUT 2/3 of his Votes Aren’t Counted"
?

HOW MANY MILLIONS OF CALIFORNIA VOTERS SCREAMED FOR A RECOUNT OF THOSE "PROVISIONAL BALLOTS" THAT WEREN'T COUNTED BECAUSE THEY KNEW WHOM THEY VOTED FOR...BERNIE SANDERS?

"It has been learned from poll workers that 50% to 90% of voters who were supposed to have been eligible to vote in the Democratic primary were told they would have to vote provisional ballots.

There were two irregularities leading to the forced use of provisional ballots instead of regular ballots. The first was that previously registered voters' names had been removed from the rolls. The second was that someone (in most cases, not the voter) had marked them as vote by mail voters but they had received no ballot in the mail. Oddly, virtually all of those not allowed to vote and forced to vote provisional ballots were Bernie Sanders supporters.

The next oddity is even more curious.
Poll workers in Los Angeles and Orange County report that Bernie won the electronic votes in their precincts by well over a 2 to 1 margin, the opposite of the result of the vote count. The contrast between this and the outcome is indicative of vote-flipping. Also the outcome... outcome does not match what anyone who has conducted polling in this state knows.

If you add the lower figure of 50% of voters who were not allowed to vote regular ballots for Bernie to the votes he received, you wind up with a substantial Sanders landslide victory in California. The primary beneficiary of the fraud is Hillary Clinton.

As for the voters who weren’t allowed to vote, the buck stops with two people: **California Secretary of State and Clinton supporter Alex Padilla and Hillary Clinton, herself, the candidate who benefited from the voter suppression."

BERNIE SANDERS WAS ROBBED IN CALIFORNIA AND ALEX PADILLA HELPED ROB HIM.

ALEX SEEMS DETERMINED TO ROB ONE FOR THE TEAM YET AGAIN.
AND CALIFORNIA WILL LET HIM.

END NOTES:

--  IN 2000, THE BUSH #2 TEAM ROBBED OLD AL GORE OF THE ELECTION BY UTILIZING L'IL BROTHER JEB's GOVERNORSHIP IN FLORIDA, ALONG WITH A HACKING PROGRAM PAID FOR BY FLORIDA GOP CONGRESSMAN, TOM FEENEY.

IT WAS THOSE DAMNED "HANGING CHADS" THAT DID GORE IN.

HOW THOSE "CHADS" GOT HUNG IS ANOTHER STORY IN/OF ITSELF.

ELECTION FRAUD IS EASIEST BY HARVESTED, DROPPED-OFF, AND MAILED-IN BALLOTS.

WHICHEVER PARTY GETS CONTROL OF THE MOST OF THOSE ALMOST ALWAYS MANAGES TO "WIN".

BUT THEN COMES THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE...WHERE POPULAR VOTE BECOMES A MOOT POINT.

SOME OF THE BIGGEST NAMES IN MAINSTREAM MEDIA BEGGED ELECTORS TO CHANGE THEIR VOTES TO CLINTON.

INSTEAD, 10 ELECTORS CHANGED THEIR VOTES.
AFTER 3 WERE WHIPPED BACK INTO CASTING THEIR VOTES FOR CLINTON, FIVE STILL TURNED ON HER AND VOTED AGAINST CLINTON, BECAME "FAITHLESS  ELECTORS" RATHER THAN VOTE FOR HER.

TWO ATTEMPTED TO NOT CAST THEIR VOTES FOR TRUMP.

THE SUPREME COURT SLAPPED THEIR "FAITHLESS" HANDS.

--
In 2016, California governor Jerry Brown signed into law a change in the state election code that allows ANY person to collect a mail-in ballot from voters and turn in the mail ballot to a polling place or registrar’s office.

If you cannot drive or walk to an official drop site for the 2020 Election, or if you’re out of town, the law says you can legally give your marked, signed and sealed ballot to ANYONE that you trust to bring to a drop box or polling place.

LOOKS LIKE CALIFORNIA'S DEMOCRATS FEEL LIKE THAT "ANY" AND "ANYONE" HAS TO BE A DEMOCRAT.
