According to Peter Gøtzsche, professor of research design and analysis at the University of Copenhagen, prescription drugs are the third most common cause of death after heart disease and cancer.

In an analysis published in the BMJ, he estimated that every year psychiatric drugs, including anti–depressants and dementia drugs, are responsible for half-a-million deaths in those aged over 65.

Between 2007 and 2012, the majority of the largest 10 pharmaceutical companies all paid considerable fines for various misdemeanours that included marketing drugs for off-label uses, misrepresentation of research results and hiding data on harms.

But as long as these criminal acts generate profit, they will continue unabated.

Medical journals and the media can also be manipulated to serve not only as marketing vehicles for the industry, but also be complicit in silencing those who call for more independent scrutiny of scientific data.   

Earlier this year, the editor of the Lancet, Richard Horton, wrote that possibly half of the published medical literature may simply be untrue and that science had “taken a turn towards darkness”.  


Corporate greed and systematic political failure have brought healthcare to its knees. There are too many misinformed doctors and misinformed patients. It’s time for greater transparency and stronger accountability, so that doctors and nurses can provide the best quality care for the most important person in the consultation room – the patient.

As John Adams, the second US president, said: “The preservation of the means of knowledge amongst the lowest ranks is of more importance to the public than all the property of all the rich men in the country.” It’s time to restrain the harms of too much medicine.


ABSTRACT
A definitive review and close reading of medical peer-review journals, and government health statistics shows that American medicine frequently causes more harm than good.

The number of people having in-hospital, adverse drug reactions (ADR) to prescribed medicine is 2.2 million.¹

Dr. Richard Besser, of the CDC, in 1995, said the number of unnecessary antibiotics prescribed annually for viral infections was 20 million. Dr. Besser, in 2003, now refers to tens of millions of unnecessary antibiotics.^{2, 2a}
The number of unnecessary medical and surgical procedures performed annually is 7.5 million.³

The number of people exposed to unnecessary hospitalization annually is 8.9 million.⁴ 

The total number of iatrogenic deaths shown in the following table is 783,936.

It is evident that the American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the United States.

In 2001 heart disease annual death rate was 699,697; the annual cancer death rate, 553,251.⁵



Our estimated 10-year total of 7.8 million iatrogenic deaths is more than all the casualties from all the wars fought by the US throughout its entire history.


US health care spending reached $1.6 trillion in 2003, representing 14% of the nation's gross national product.(15)

Considering this enormous expenditure, we should have the best medicine in the world.
We should be preventing and reversing disease, and doing minimal harm.

Careful and objective review, however, shows we are doing the opposite. Because of the extraordinarily narrow, technologically driven context in which contemporary medicine examines the human condition, we are completely missing the larger picture.

Medicine is not taking into consideration the following critically important aspects of a healthy human organism: (a) stress and how it adversely affects the immune system and life processes; (b) insufficient exercise; (c) excessive caloric intake; (d) highly processed and denatured foods grown in denatured and chemically damaged soil; and (e) exposure to tens of thousands of environmental toxins. Instead of minimizing these disease-causing factors, we cause more illness through medical technology, diagnostic testing, overuse of medical and surgical procedures, and overuse of pharmaceutical drugs.

The huge disservice of this therapeutic strategy is the result of little effort or money being spent on preventing disease.
GETTING WORSE, NOT BETTER!   A survey of a 1992 national pharmacy database found a total of 429,827 medication errors from 1,081 hospitals. Medication errors occurred in 5.22% of patients admitted to these hospitals each year. The authors concluded that at least 90,895 patients annually were harmed by medication errors in the US as a whole.(37) A 2002 study shows that 20% of hospital medications for patients had dosage errors. Nearly 40% of these errors were considered potentially harmful to the patient. In a typical 300-patient hospital, the number of errors per day was 40.(38)
Problems involving patients' medications were even higher the following year. The error rate intercepted by pharmacists in this study was 24%, making the potential minimum number of patients harmed by prescription drugs 417,908.(39)

THEY LIED THEN, THEY LIE NOW...
Scientists claimed there were never enough studies revealing the dangers of DDT and other dangerous pesticides to ban them. 
They also used this argument for tobacco, claiming that more studies were needed before they could be certain that tobacco really caused lung cancer. 

Even the American Medical Association (AMA) was complicit in suppressing the results of tobacco research. In 1964, when the Surgeon General's report condemned smoking, the AMA refused to endorse it, claiming a need for more research. What they really wanted was more money, which they received from a consortium of tobacco companies that paid the AMA $18 million over the next nine years during which the AMA said nothing about the dangers of smoking.(108)

Hippocrates must be spinning in his grave. We have lost track of what should be the most important dictum in medicine, his “First, do no harm.” Too many doctors, too many tests, too many procedures, and no one keeping track. Its a prescription for disaster, and the disasters keep happening.

The basic problem is that modern medicine consistently violates the ancient advice of Hippocrates: “It is better to know the patient who has the disease than the disease the patient has.”

  Presenting a report he sponsored entitled "Abuse of Residents is a Major Problem in U.S. Nursing Homes" on July 30, 2001, Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) noted that “as a society we will be judged by how we treat the elderly."
  
  The report found one-third of the nation's approximately 17,000 nursing homes were cited for an abuse violation in a two-year period from January 1999 to January 2001.(116) According to Waxman, “the people who cared for us deserve better." The report suggests that this known abuse represents only the “tip of the iceberg” and that much more abuse occurs that we aware of or ignore.(116a) The report found:

10% of nursing homes had violations that caused actual physical harm to residents or worse.

Feb 20, 2016 - Here's something else to be anxious about: You might overdose on your anxiety medication and die.

As first reported by NBC News , a new study in the American Journal of Public Health found that, while the number of prescriptions for benzodiazepines (or “benzos”) like Valium, Xanax, Klonopin and Ativan tripled between 1996 and 2013, the number of deadly overdoses from those drugs quadrupled over the same time period.

NASA’s planet hunter, the Kepler space telescope, has captured the brilliant flash of an exploding star’s shock wave-what astronomers call the “shock breakout” of a supernova- for the first time in visible light wavelengths. An international science team, including two astronomers from the University of Maryland, analyzed light captured by Kepler every 30 minutes over a three-year period, searching some 50 trillion stars spread across 500 distant galaxies.
The astronomers were hunting for signs of massive stellar death explosions known as supernovae.

“Like police getting surveillance footage of a crime after the event, we can study brightness histories from Kepler to find out what was happening in the exact hour that the shock wave from the stellar core reached the surface of the star,” said Edward Shaya, an associate research scientist in astronomy at UMD and a co-author on the study. “These events are bright enough that they change the brightness of the whole galaxy by a measurable amount.”

“It lasted only 20 minutes and took place 1.2 billion light years away, but NASA managed to catch it on camera: a star exploding. The brilliant flash of an exploding star’s shockwave — or “shock breakout” — has been captured for the first time in visible light by the Kepler space telescope,” according to a news report published by CNN

The team analyzing the Kepler data found exactly what they were looking for: a red supergiant 500 times the size of our sun and around 1.2 billion light years away exploded while in the telescope’s view.
“Kepler was monitoring the same patch of sky every 30 minutes”, Dr Brad Tucker of the Australian National University explained. “It doesn’t download all of its pixels, because that’s too much data for its bandwidth,” he continued – so the team had to get time for a specific supernova-hunting mission. “What we had to do was select 500 galaxies and hope we got a supernova.”

“There's a quick brightening in the first moment of explosion,” he said, “this huge extra light that fades before you get the normal explosion.”


In the Kepler data, Tucker said, “we see this distinct extra feature – a wave that peaks just after time zero, then slowly fades over a few days.


“Physically, it looks exactly like a wave – it comes with a wave-front and dies away.”


And, Tucker said, the shockwaves seen in the Kepler data were in keeping with “the physical mechanism of a core-collapse supernova: gravity keeps condensing the star core (towards either a neutron star or a black hole) and when that finishes, it bounces off.

“The bounce ripples through the star, and that's what causes it to blow up.”

So a year-long mission watching 500 galaxies “stacked the deck” enough to make it likely one would be observed. The two supernovae that were eventually spotted are KSN 2011a (700 million light years away, 300 times the size of the sun) and KSN 2011d (1.2 billion light years away, 500 times the size of the sun).

Interestingly, the smaller of these didn’t show a shockwave.
According to this NASA that might be because it’s surrounded by gas that obscured the event.

Tucker added that the repurposed K2 mission should catch more such events, since he said it will be able to watch thousands of galaxies instead of a select few.

Lead researcher Peter Garnavich, an astrophysics professor at the University of Notre Dame, said in a statement that the star is so colossal that “Earth’s orbit around the sun would fit comfortably within (it).”

With its journey to find Earth-like planets in our solar system over, NASA's Kepler space telescope will embark on a new mission this week: the search for free-playing planets in an attempt to uncover how common these orphan planets are, also referred to as the K2 mission.

Orphan worlds - a term for planets without host stars - are very hard to find, but they do exist. Scientists believe that they are the result of an ejection from their solar system families due to gravitational dynamics, whereby they are lured away by tidal forces.

However, due to the difficulty involved in finding them, researchers are still unsure of just how common these planets are.

In order to answer this question, scientists are going to use a technique known as microlensing, a phenomenon that occurs when the gravity of an unseen foreground, such as an orphan planet, magnifies the light from a distant background star.
"For a lensing event that's due to a just a single object, the most salient feature of the light curve is the time scale," said Calen Henderson, an astronomer with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. "In general, a shorter time scale is potentially indicative of a lower-mass lensing object."

"If you're just monitoring one star, it's very, very rare to capture a microlensing event," Henderson said. "That would only happen once per individual star every maybe 300,000 years. It's a fishing expedition. Microlensing events are rare. They're unpredictable and so what microlensing surveys have done for decades is just try to play the numbers game," he said.

Although some variations in star brightness stem from stellar flares, others are caused by bodies in the foreground that alter the light of the background star.
"What we're going to try to do with K2 is look for those events that are due to a lensing system that is just a free-floating planet," Henderson said.

NASA's Kepler team hopes to shed light on these unique orphan planets by the end of the K2 mission.

Planet Nine: Scientists Uncover New Data That Further Supports Its Existence

A new finding continues to lend support to the theory that there is a ninth planet lurking at the edge of our solar system.

Back in January, a team of researchers proposed the existence of a ninth planet on the edge of our solar system. The team came to the conclusion using a mathematical model that suggested that a distant planet - about the size of Neptune - was influencing the orbital path of six objects in the Kuiper Belt, a mysterious area that scientists believe is filled with asteroids and other icy objects.

"It's almost like having six hands on a clock all moving at different rates, and when you happen to look up, they're all in exactly the same place," said Mike Brown, who conducted the original research suggesting the planet's existence along with Konstantin Batygin. "Basically it shouldn't happen randomly. So we thought something else must be shaping these orbits."

Not long afterwards, another research team narrowed down the area of the planet's supposed location, and yet another claimed that Planet Nine is crossing high-eccentricity KBOs (Kuiper belt objects) due to orbital resonance.

Now, Brown and Batygin claim to have found another small object that is located in the exact location that their model predicts, further supporting the existence of a mysterious ninth planet.

Although none of these claims have yet to be presented in a peer-reviewed journal or verified with other scientists, the Canada France Hawaii Telescope, which is currently in the midst of examining the far reaches of our solar system for the Outer Solar System Origins Survey, will be able to verify the claims as it discovers new Kuiper Belt objects.

If Planet Nine is proven to exist, Brown and Batygin claim that there will be no debate about its classification as a true planet."

 

The team calculated that if it exists, Planet Nine would be 3.7 times wider than our planet, with a surface temperature of minus 375 degrees Fahrenheit.


"This means that the planet's emission is dominated by the cooling of its core; otherwise, the temperature would only be 10 Kelvin," said Esther Linder, co-author of the study and student from the University of Bern in Switzerland. 


"With our study, candidate Planet Nine is now more than a simple point mass; it takes shape, having physical properties," said Christoph Mordasini, co-author of the study and astrophysics professor at the University of Bern.



In terms of its formation, the team believes that Planet Nine originated from the same disk of dust and gas as the other planets in our solar system, although some astronomers are suggest that other more exotic origins are possible.

The findings will be published in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics.

The planet, according to Caltech researchers, has a mass about 10 times that of Earth and takes about 15,000 years to make a full orbit around the sun.

Soviet-born Zecharia Sitchin first wrote about Nibiru — a distant member of our solar system — in the 1970s.
The name comes from Babylonian astrology, and relates to astronomical objects.

Sitchin was a scholar who interpreted ancient texts and biblical writings. His books have sold millions of copies.
According to Sitchin, Nibiru features an elongated, elliptical orbit and comes near Earth every 3,600 years.

Despite Sitchin's death in 2010, his website is still maintained, and a Wednesday post addressed the discovery of a new planet.


"With an elliptical orbit of 10,000 or 20,000 of our years, this planet may not be Nibiru, which has an orbit of about 3,600 of our years," a post on his website states. "However, this prediction of a likely additional planet in our solar system is exciting news. Perhaps the search will lead us to either finding Nibiru, or perhaps we'll find that something has changed and impacted Nibiru's orbit since the last time it orbited Earth."

Additionally, a 1984 Associated Press article claims that dinosaurs and other species were killed off by a dim dwarf star that periodically causes immense comet showers, "plunging Earth into cold and darkness that kills up to 70 percent of all life."

‘at some very basic level, evolution as a scientific theory makes a commitment to a kind of naturalism, namely that at some level one is going to exclude miracles and these sorts of things, come what may.’

He went on to defend this unprovable assumption by the fact that, in his view, it works.
Nevertheless, said Ruse,

‘evolution, akin to religion, involves making certain a priori or metaphysical assumptions, which at some level cannot be proven empirically.’

EVOLUTION, BY THE ADMISSION OF SCIENCE ITSELF, IS NOT PROVEN, MERELY STANDS AS A CONTESTABLE THEORY.

Science is a way to formulate assumptions, observe, and infer from assumptions what is likely... MERELY "LIKELY"!

"Science is an ongoing process, and there is much more yet to learn about the world. In fact, in science, making a key discovery often leads to many new questions ripe for investigation. Furthermore, scientists are constantly elaborating, refining, and revising established scientific ideas based on new evidence and perspectives."

Nothing can prove something definitely (including this statement)... so people accept it and go with the amount of certainty that can be given. 

'PSYCHOLOGY TODAY' WROTE:
"Proofs exist only in mathematics and logic, not in science. 
Mathematics and logic are both closed, self-contained systems of propositions, whereas science is empirical and deals with nature as it exists.

Many famous evolutionists have calculated the odds of a cell or even just the proteins in a cell randomly assembling.

These odds (again calculated by evolutionists themselves) so discredit the theory that they typically are not mentioned in discussions of the topic.

The famous atheistic astronomer Sir Frederick Hoyle calculated the odds of even just the proteins of an amoeba arising by chance at one in 10^40,000, i.e., one followed by 40,000 zeroes (Hoyle and Wickramasinghe, 1981, p. 130).

Harold Morowitz, former professor of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University, calculated the odds that a simple, single-celled organism might randomly assemble itself from pre-existing building blocks as one in 10^{100,000,000,000}, i.e., one followed by 100 billion zeroes (Morowitz, 1968, p. 98).

Carl Sagan and other famous evolutionists (including Nobel Laureate Francis Crick, the co-discoverer of DNA) have come to similar conclusions (Sagan, et al., 1973, pp. 45-46).

Calculations such as these were the basis of Sir Fred Hoyle’s famous quote that the probability of spontaneous generation “is about the same as the probability that a tornado sweeping through a junk yard could assemble a 747 from the contents therein” (Hoyle, 1981, 294[5837]:105). Hoyle went on to say that he was at a loss to understand “biologists’ widespread compulsion to deny what seems to me to be obvious” (294[5837]:105).

A computer was programmed in an attempt to arrive at the simple 26-letter alphabet. After 35,000,000,000,000 (35 trillion) attempts it has only arrived at 14 letters correctly.

What are the odds that a simple single cell organism could evolve given the complexity of more than 60,000 proteins of 100 different configurations all in the correct places?
Never in eternity!
Time does not make impossible things possible.


INDUCTIVE REASONING FAILS  

"Induction fails in all 3 counts pointed out.
(1) It is not a method that insures objectivity and avoids preconceptions, (2) it is not a method to reach universal truths, and (3)  it is not a good description of the process by which scientists formulate hypotheses and other forms of scientific knowledge.

It follows from this reasoning that it is possible to show the falsity of a universal statement concerning the empirical world; but it is never possible to demonstrate conclusively its truth.

This asymmetry between verification and falsification is recognized in the statistical methodology of testing hypotheses.

The hypothesis subject to test, the null hypothesis, may be rejected if the observations are inconsistent with it.
If the observations are consistent with the predictions derived from the hypothesis, the proper conclusion is that the test has failed to falsify the null hypothesis, not that its truth has been established.

Accordingly, scientific theories are never established as definitive truths.

As Claude Bernard stated, theories “represent only the current state of our understanding and are bound to be modified by the growth of science”

In the scientific method, there are 4 different steps you must take to prove your theory.

1. Observation and description of a phenomenon or group of phenomena.
2. Formulation of a hypothesis to explain the phenomena. In physics, the hypothesis often takes the form of a causal mechanism or a mathematical relation.
3. Use of the hypothesis to predict the existence of other phenomena, or to predict quantitatively the results of new observations.
4. Performance of experimental tests of the predictions by several independent experimenters and properly performed experiments.

Evolution Theory has only reached Step #2.

This means that from observations that were made (Step #1), the formulation of a hypotheses was made to explain how we got here.

It is at this step that we stall because the hypothesis for the observations does not pass scrutiny. As more is learned by observation, the hypothesis can be refined.

We therefore have a continual process of going from Step #1 to Step #2 and back again."

In fact, it is impossible for science to prove anything, because science is based on experiments and observations, both of which can be flawed.

Often, those flaws don’t become apparent to the scientific community for quite some time.

Flawed experiments and observations, of course, lead to flawed conclusions, so even the most secure scientific statements have never been proven. There might be gobs and gobs of evidence for them, but they have not been proven.

Indeed, the journal Science seemed to forget this fact for a moment, but an astute reader chastised the editor, who admitted he was wrong.

The reader’s name is Charles L. Bennett, and he wrote a letter to the editor saying:

The title of the 6 May News of the Week story “At long last, Gravity Probe B satellite proves Einstein right” (p. 649) made me cringe. I find myself frequently repeating to students and the public that science doesn’t “prove” theories. Scientific measurements can only disprove theories or be consistent with them. Any theory that is consistent with measurements could be disproved by a future measurement. I wouldn’t have expected Science magazine, of all places, to say a theory was “proved.”

Dr. Bennett is correct, of course. The editor, Colin Norman, admitted that in his response, which appeared right under the letter:

Bennett is completely correct. It’s an important conceptual point, and we blew it.

Unfortunately, as long as science magazines and teachers are sloppy enough to keep using phrases like, “science has proven,” it will be hard to teach children the truth.

In summary, then, you become “sure enough” about a theory when it can be used to predict AND REPRODUCE a wide range of data.
However, even then, you are only “sure enough” about the theory in the range over which those data test the theory.

Since evolution is taught under the guise of science, it has become a very useful tool for promoting humanism and other forms of atheism.

INTERESTING....

Giant dinosaurs literally exploded onto the scene during the Triassic period.
The fossil record (e.g., petrified bones found in the ground as at the Dinosaur National Park in Jensen, Utah, USA) shows no intermediate or transitional species.
Where are the millions of years of fossils showing the transitional forms for dinosaurs?
They do not not exist.

Books published by evolutionists have shown the giant Cetiosaurus dinosaur with the long neck extending upright eating from the treetops. They claimed natural selection was the reason Cetiosaurus had a long neck. This gave them an advantage in reaching fodder that other species could not reach.

One day during the assembly of a skeleton for a museum display someone noticed the neck vertebrae were such that the neck could not be lifted higher than stretched horizontally in front of them. The natural selection theory was proven to be a big lie.

The long neck actually placed the Cetiosaurus at a disadvantage in his environment, just the opposite from the natural Theory of Natural Selection.

Evolutionists will now claim the animal evolved a long neck because he had the advantage of eating from bushes on the other side of the river.
This is typical logic of an evolutionist.

Charles Darwin admitted that fossils of the transitional links between species would have to be found in order to prove his "Theory of Evolution."

Well, these transitional links have never been found.
We only find individual species.

The missing links are not being discovered, which proves they never existed.

Darwin assumed transitional forms would be discovered in the fossil record over time, but that has not been the case. The fossil record, or lack thereof, is a major embarrassment to evolutionists.

The fossil record is a serious rebuke of the Theory of Evolution. New species explode onto the scene out of nowhere. New fossil discoveries continue to prove evolution to be wrong.

Evolution is in trouble.
The growth of biological knowledge is producing scientific facts that contradict the evolutionary theory, not confirm it, a fact that the famous Prof. Steven Jay Gould of Harvard has described as "the trade secret of paleontology."

The Coelacanth fish was touted to be a transitional form with half-formed legs and primitive lungs, ready to transition onto land. This myth was exploded in December, 1938 when a live Coelacanth was caught in a fisherman's net off the eastern coast of South Africa. It is now known that the natives of the Comoro Islands had been catching and eating the fish for years.

It did not have half-formed legs or primitive lungs. It was simply a regular fish that people thought was extinct. Evolutionist claimed the 350 million-year-old Coelacanth evolved into animals with legs, feet, and lungs.

This not the case. We now see that the fish recently caught is exactly like the 350 million-year-old fossil. It did not evolve at all.

The Coelacanth is a star witness against the false theory of evolution.

After 350 million years, the fish still doesn't have a leg to stand on.

• Evolution has never been observed.
  “Change in a gene pool over time” means exactly that (i.e., genetic variation, which is often called “micro-evolution”), or whether he means “macro-evolution”—which is something entirely different.  The postulation of “macro-evolution” (i.e., the emergence of entirely new and more “advanced” features through innumerable, completely new genetically-defined traits) is not to be confused with genetic variation (i.e., “micro-evolution”), which is the appearance and/or disappearance of existing and/or potential genetic traits through recombination of existing genetic code.  Proponents of evolutionism often fail to note the important difference between these two, simply calling them both “evolution,” and thereby deliberately blurring the distinction between them.
  
  Again, adaptive (and even non-adaptive) variations abound in the natural world, but they are not the genuine gene pool changes (i.e., additions of unequivocally new and meaningful genetic information) required by true evolutionary theory.
  

• Evolution violates the 2nd law of thermodynamics.
  “The entropy of a closed system cannot decrease.”  Anyone familiar with the 2nd law will recognize that statement as commonly used in defining the 2nd law as it pertains to Classical Thermodynamics.
  The vital point to be grasped here is that the presence of a system (whether organizational or mechanical) hardly guarantees continuous enhancement, but more realistically is subject to continual degradation, if it is not kept to the pre-determined standard defined in its original design.  Evolutionistic thinking often ignores this principle, despite the fact that it is a profoundly and empirically established scientific fact.
  It should be clear that the 2nd law of thermodynamics does indeed require that a natural process or system, left to itself, increases in entropy, or randomness, and therefore decreases in order, and—as Asimov put it—“deteriorates, collapses, breaks down, wears out, all by itself.” 
  Please don’t let the fact escape your notice that Asimov applies this law to “the universe” which pretty much assures us that its application is ... universal (applying to all processes and systems).
  

• There are no transitional fossils.
  “Contrary to what most scientists write, the fossil record does not support the Darwinian theory of evolution because it is this theory (there are several) which we use to interpret the fossil record.  By doing so, we are guilty of circular reasoning if we then say the fossil record supports this theory.” [Ronald R. West (evolutionist), “Paleontology and Uniformitariansim.” Compass, Vol. 45 (May 1968), p. 216.]
  
  “The known fossil record fails to document a single example of phyletic evolution accomplishing a major morphologic transition and hence offers no evidence that a gradualistic model can be valid.” [Steven M. Stanley, AN EVOLUTIONIST, in his 'Macroevolution: Pattern and Process'. San Francisco: W. M. Freeman & Co., 1979, p. 39.]
  
  George Gaylord Simpson, another leading evolutionist, sees this characteristic in practically the whole range of taxonomic categories:
  

  "...Every paleontologist knows that most new species, genera, and families, and that nearly all categories above the level of family appear in the record suddenly and are not led up to by known, gradual, completely continuous transitional sequences.” [George Gaylord Simpson (evolutionist), The Major Features of Evolution, New York, Columbia University Press, 1953 p. 360.]

  
  

  “Few paleontologists have, I think, ever supposed that fossils, by themselves, provide grounds for the conclusion that evolution has occurred.  The fossil record doesn’t even provide any evidence in support of Darwinian theory except in the weak sense that the fossil record is compatible with it, just as it is compatible with other evolutionary theories, and revolutionary theories, and special creationist theories, and even ahistorical theories.” [David B.   E. R. Leach offers no help, observing only that:

  The highly complex and orderly structures and processes that comprise life and its functions can not even begin to be explained as having arisen from non-living matter, no matter how much primordial soup and time is involved.  Knowledgeable and objective members of the scientific community don’t deny this.
  
  

• Evolution is only a theory; it hasn’t been proved.
  
• Evolutionism fails to be self-consistent
  1. by requiring multiple “definitions”, depending on the need of the moment
  2. in the varied, and contradictory camps connected with thermodynamics, phylogeny, proposed mechanisms, and various sub-theories, etc.
• Evolutionism fails to agree with observations in
  1. the fossil record
  2. geology
  3. genetics
  4. molecular biology
  5. thermodynamics
  6. dozens of dating methods (both radiometric and geological/geophysical)
  7. probability mathematics
• Evolutionism has failed to prove useful, having produced
  1. no new advancements in scientific knowledge or technology
  2. no advancements in medicine—and actually has hindered past research because of false claims (now discarded) concerning “vestigial” organs
  3. no positive contribution to society through evolution-based social “sciences”—having served as a pseudo-scientific justification for racism, nazism, communism, and other societal/ideological ills.
     
  Lacking not only “proof,” but also any truly supportive, unequivocal “evidence,” we most certainly do not arrive at a “fact” of evolution—and there scarcely remains even a defensible scientific “theory” of evolution at all!
  
  Many evolutionists persist in defending their FAITH by perpetuating faulty logic and claiming tired, out-dated relics as “evidence”.
  

LIKE I SAID, EVOLUTION IS A FAITH, A RELIGION, AND MUST BE RECLASSIFIED AS SUCH.
IT HAS ALL THE EARMARKS OF A FAITH-BASED BELIEF SYSTEM, JUST AS EVOLUTIONISTS SAY OF CREATIONISTS.
