Government Stays Open As Congress Advances Poison-Pill Spending Bill

"At least Democrats will have eggnog to wash down the poison pills they swallowed on Thursday as the House narrowly passed a government funding bill that will let Congress go home early for Christmas, and give Wall Street a fresh gift.

The bill, which passed 219 to 206, will keep the government running until next September. But only 57 Democrats voted FOR the bill, and 67 Republicans broke ranks with their party to OPPOSE it."

"This is ransom, this is blackmail," Nancy Pelosi said. "We don't get a bill unless Wall Street gets its taxpayer-funded coverage." 

"This is exquisitely reckless -- a special provision for Wall Street in exchange for money from Wall Street," Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) told HuffPost.  

"Once again, here in the holiday season, it's all about stuffing the silk stocking," said Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas). 

The controversial provision lets taxpayer-insured banks conduct the sort of derivatives trading that Dodd-Frank barred them from engaging in after the 2008 financial meltdown. Compliance has repeatedly been delayed, however, and was not set to kick in until next summer. The other provision that sparked Democrats' ire was a change to campaign finance rules that lets wealthy donors dramatically boost contributions to party committees."

"Americans for Prosperity, a prominent conservative group, is suing the California attorney general for allegedly demanding donor information and threatening harsh penalties if they don't comply. 

The lawsuit, which claims that complying with Attorney General Kamala Harris' demands would put donors' safety "at risk".  "

"According to the Courthouse News Service, the nonprofit group is seeking a federal court order that would bar Harris from demanding the names of its donors. Harris, according to the report, had told the group if it did not hand over the donor lists from 2011 and 2012, Americans for Prosperity would be slapped with fines and barred from operating in California.

Harris’ office has not yet been served with the lawsuit and so far is not commenting, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.  "
     Tax-exempt charitable groups are required to file an annual report (Form 990) with the IRS and a separate form (Schedule B) listing the names and addresses of people who donate more than $5,000 in one year. The 990 is a public document – but the IRS must keep the donor information private.

A Government Shutdown Can't Stop Obama's Immigration Plan—and John Boehner Knows It
“[T]he Appropriations process cannot be used to 'de-fund' the [relevant] agency,” he explained in a pre-Thanksgiving statement. “The agency has the ability to continue to collect and use fees to continue current operations, and to expand operations as under a new Executive Order, without needing legislative approval by the Appropriations Committee or the Congress, even under a continuing resolution or a government shutdown.”

SO, IN SPITE OF THEIR OUTCRIES, THEIR WILD VOWS TO STOP  OBAMA ON EVERY TURN, EITHER THE GOP IS FULL TO THE TOP OF THOSE IGNORANT TO LAW, OR THEY SIMPLY LIKE TO LIE.

Several Republicans opposed to Obama’s immigration move claim they can pass a spending bill that cuts out the funding to enforce it.

“I’m for sending money to fund everything except those branches that are affected by this, then cutting off the funding to the very edict that he will deliver,” Representative Steve King, R-Iowa, one of the most vocal opponents of comprehensive immigration reform in Washington, said Thursday. “We say, ‘None of the funds being used in this act shall be used to carry out executive edict —’ and then we define it.”

But it’s not that simple. Obama’s action is expected to be carried out by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), which isn’t funded by Congress’s annual spending bills. Instead, it’s self-funded by application and petition fees. So how could Congress defund something it isn’t funding in the first place?

King , SILLY TWIT, doesn’t see this as an obstacle to his plan. “I have that language already written. It says, ‘No fees either,’” King said.

Other 'Publicans are also just THAT stupid, but HARK! A voice , nay TWO voices of, if not reason, maybe a better knowledge of the ACTUAL LAWS involved?

You see,  using appropriations bills to stop spending that doesn’t happen under the appropriation bill is tricky, to say the least. “It would take a change of law, an authorization of law” to change the underlying statute, House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers, R-Kentucky, told reporters Thursday, throwing water on the idea that his committee will try to block Obama through the spending process.

“It depends to some degree on what the executive order is, and we don’t know that yet. But if it is something that is funded by fees, defunding doesn’t work,” Representative Mike Simpson, R-Idaho, said Thursday.

 BUT WAIT!
IT GETS WORSE FOR THE GOP!
Even if the House figures out a way to put language into a spending bill that prohibits USCIS from carrying out Obama’s order, either the Senate would strip that language out or the president would veto it, leading to a government shutdown. In a shutdown scenario, however, USCIS would still be funded and would be able to carry out Obama’s executive action, even as most of the government ceases to operate.

ANOTHER POINTLESS SHUTDOWN would defeat top Republicans’ goal of proving that they can govern responsibly after the midterms, rather than lurching from one crisis to the next.
ANOTHER DUMB SHUTDOWN IS NOT A VOTE-GETTER AND THEY KNOW IT.
So what other options do they have? Not many.

King said he wanted to see the House pass a resolution denouncing the president’s action and then vote to censure him—both symbolic moves that wouldn’t block Obama’s order. Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas, [BY WAY OF CANADA]  a Tea Party leader and top Obama hater, floated the idea of refusing to confirm any of the president’s judicial or executive appointments in the next Congress.
But Republicans were expected to do that regardless.
That's just the way they roll.

REAL legal experts largely agree that the president has wide latitude when it comes to U.S. immigration laws. Even the Supreme Court has endorsed the idea that the president has “broad discretion” on immigration matters. In 2012, conservative Justice Anthony Kennedy described this power in a 5-3 opinion striking down portions of Arizona’s extreme anti-undocumented-immigration bill.

“A principal feature of the removal system is the broad discretion exercised by immigration officials,” Kennedy wrote in the opinion, which was joined by the court’s conservative chief justice, John Roberts. “Federal officials, as an initial matter, must decide whether it makes sense to pursue removal at all.”

Even if a judge did agree to hear the case, it could take YEARS for anything to come of it.

There’s always impeachment, but Republicans are NOT talking that up as an option.

“I think that’s been ruled out,” Huelskamp said. King likewise downplayed the idea, evidence that the Republicans know impeachment would turn public opinion against them.

3~Conyers filed a resolution on December 18, 2005 to create an investigative committee to consider impeachment. His resolution gained 38 co-sponsors before it expired at the end of the 109th Congress.

4~Conyers filed again Jan. 20, 2006, and Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) also called for the committee to explore whether Bush should face impeachment, stemming from his decision to authorize domestic surveillance without court review.

5~Keith Ellison was the leading figure behind the resolution to impeach Bush brought to the Minnesota State House of Representatives in May 2006. Ellison was elected to the United States House of Representatives in November 2006. During the campaign and when he was named to the House Judiciary Committee, Ellison repeatedly called for a possible impeachment.

5 1/2~ In July 2007, Nancy Pelosi stated that she "would probably advocate" impeaching Bush if she were not in the House nor Speaker of the House.
 November 2007, Joe Biden, then a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008, stated that he would move to impeach if President Bush were to bomb Iran without first gaining congressional approval.

6~ On December 8, 2006 (the last day of the 109th Congress), then-Representative Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) submitted a resolution, H. Res. 1106. to impeach G.W.  The bill expired along with the 109th Congress.

7~On July 14, 2008, Kucinich introduced a new impeachment resolution (H.Res. 1345) limited to a single count.

The House has initiated impeachment proceedings more than 60 times but less than a third have led to full impeachments. Just eight—all federal judges—have been convicted and removed from office by the Senate. Outside of the 15 federal judges impeached by the House, two Presidents (Andrew Johnson in 1868 and William Jefferson (Bill) Clinton in 1998), a cabinet secretary (William Belknap in 1876), and a U.S. Senator (William Blount of North Carolina in 1797) have also been impeached.

“If anyone suggests [impeachment], I hope they just put a bullet to my head, ’cause that’s not a viable option either,” said Mike Simpson, a more moderate Republican who is in favor of passing comprehensive reform.

Freshman Rep. Kent Bentivolio, R-Mich., fanned the flames by saying an Obama impeachment would be a "dream come true," though the lawyers he consulted on the matter told him to keep dreaming. 

Based on what we know now, President Obama is as likely to be impeached as he is to be a lottery pick in next year's NBA draft.

There is a final option. House Republicans could do what they have failed to do for the past many years and pass comprehensive immigration reform that would replace the president’s order with bipartisan legislation. After all, if Republicans had already passed a comprehensive plan, Obama wouldn’t be taking action on his own.

“Pass an immigration bill,” Simpson said, listing the possible routes Republicans could take... ultimately we’ve got to solve the problem. So why not just start doing it?”

BETTER LEGAL MINDS HAVE COME UP WITH 6 OPTIONS FOR ACTION, AND HAVE DISMISSED ALL OF THEM.
1~ GO TO THE SUPREME COURT.
NO, this has failed repeatedly and would take YEARS!
2~ SUE THE PREZ.

3~ LET THE STATES SUE.

4~ DEFUND THE GOVERNMENT.
NO. The money that will implement this is NOT doled out/controlled by by Congress. Even in FULL SHUTDOWN, the immigration order WILL be carried out. The funding comes from FEES.
Congress would have to pass NEW laws to change this, and that would take YEARS.
5~ TRY TO REPEAL THE EXEC ORDER.
NO. Only 4% of executive orders were successfully changed in ANY way IN THE HISTORY OF THE U.S. A FIGHT WOULD TAKE YEARS.
6~ IMPEACH OBAMA.
NO.  The chances that would ever work are slim to none.
3 reasons:
#1 His Exec Order is identical to previous EOs by OTHER presidents.
#2 Half the Republicans have said they won't go there.
#3 Even if he was impeached, see 1 through 5 above, years of a futile fight loom.

There is a 4th reason some Republicans mention in saying why THEY won't vote to impeach.
Minority voters will have a bigger share of the voting population nationally in two years.
The very ones whom the GOP have tried to keep away from the polling places are determined to get those "Voter ID cards" so they can thank the ones who made them necessary AT THE POLLS.

MIAMI NUCLEAR FACILITY LEAKING, HANFORD ALLOWED TO CONTINUE LEAKS

THE TURKEY POINT NUCLEAR 'POWER PLANT' NEAR MIAMI, FLORIDA HAS BEEN IN TROUBLE ALMOST SINCE IT WAS OPENED.
A STEAM LEAK THERE CAUSED REACTOR 4 SHUTDOWN 2 DAYS AGO, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 30.
HOW MANY WERE PERHAPS FATALLY CONTAMINATED BY THAT WE WILL NEVER KNOW.

A MEDEIVAL MOAT SYSTEM FACILITY
SEVERAL EXPERTS have warned of the imminent possibility of a Fukushima-style meltdown at Florida Power & Light's Turkey Point facility, only 41 miles south of Miami near Homestead; a reactor so primitively designed that it uses a 168-mile network of open air canals to cool it's ancient reactors (built in 1972), reminiscent of a Medieval moat system.

Back in 2011, an online article published at Miami New Times titled, "Five reasons Turkey Point could be the next nuclear disaster," identified the Turkey Point facility as the country's next most likely reactor to undergo a full-scale meltdown; one which would make Miami uninhabitable, virtually overnight. It is an article well worth reading to get up to date on the gravity of the situation there.

A battery of recent reports reveals that the Turkey Point plant is in an ongoing struggle to keep its reactors cool enough to prevent a mandatory shut down; they are still in operation only because they lobbied for special permission to violate water temperature safety thresholds from the previous 100 degree limit up to their new one of 103 degrees:

DOES ANYONE INTEND TO TELL THEM NOW THAT ONE REACTOR HAD TO BE SHUT DOWN?

With increased canal temperatures linked to accumulating salinity and an inadequate water supply within its canal system, climate change, a storm surge from a hurricane or tidal wave associated with an offshore seismic event, a power outage generated by a class X solar flare, or simply sea level rise – any of these could theoretically permanently incapacitate the reactors main and diesel back-up cooling systems, leading to a meltdown. What will follow will be irreversible, devastating and beyond remediation.

MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WOULD FACE CONTAMINATION.

Even if we assume that the sort of eventuality described above will not take place in our lifetimes, or those of our children and grandchildren ... even then, the Turkey Point facility, like all nuclear facilities around the world, is actively harming countless people within the vicinity due to its routine release of highly carcinogenic radioisotopes.
AND THOSE WHO ARE IN CHARGE, YES, THEY ALLOW IT!
THEY KNOW THE IMMINENT DANGER TO ALL LIFE, BUT THEY ALLOW IT...BECAUSE THEY DON'T LIVE THERE!

SPOKANE, WASH. 

A new deal allows a radioactive waste storage tank to continue leaking for more than a year before its contents are pumped out at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, the nation's most polluted nuclear site.

The deal to pump nuclear waste tank AY-102, announced late Monday, is between the U.S. Department of Energy and the Washington State Department of Ecology. Under the deal, pumping of the double-walled tank would not begin until 2016, and it would take a year to complete.

The deal has outraged critics of Hanford, which for decades made plutonium for the nation's nuclear weapons.

"Every day this tank leaks creates additional dangers," said Gerry Pollet, executive director of Heart of America Northwest, a long-time Hanford watchdog group. "Federal and state laws require that leaking tanks of any toxic waste must be emptied immediately. The Energy Department should not get special dispensation just because Hanford officials failed to take action over the past three years to have equipment in place to remove the wastes or to plan to build new storage tanks."

Plutonium production created a huge volume of nuclear waste at Hanford, and the site is now engaged in cleaning up the nation's largest collection of nuclear waste. The most dangerous wastes are stored in 177 giant underground tanks. The sprawling site is near Richland in south-central Washington.

Several of the older single-walled tanks at Hanford have leaked. But Tank AY-102 is the only newer double-walled tank believed to be leaking.

THAT IS JUST NOT TRUE! OTHER TANKS WERE, WERE, FOUND TO BE LEAKING. 

BUT THEY WEREN'T CONSIDERED "SERIOUS" LEAKS...AGAIN, BECAUSE THOSE RULING ON THAT DO NOT LIVE NEAR THAT TOXIC WASTELAND!

WILL ISRAEL RECLAIM THE TEMPLE MOUNT AFTER ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT?

VIOLENCE AROUND AND ON THE ANCIENT SITE OF SOLOMON'S TEMPLE, THE 'TEMPLE MOUNT', HAS ESCALATED STEADILY FOR YEARS NOW.  

LAST MONTH, THERE WAS AN ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT ON A JEWISH RABBI, YEHUDA GLICK, WHO WAS SHOT SEVERAL TIMES, STOMACH AND CHEST WOUNDS. 
"The attack on Glick came after particularly heated clashes during the Jewish holidays last month. Masked protesters inside Al Aqsa, equipped with rocks and fireworks, battled Israeli police just outside the mosque, who responded with stun grenades. Israeli officials allege the violence is being organized by Hamas and other Islamist groups."  

THIS FOLLOWS ON THE HEELS OF RECENT CLASHES OF STONE-THROWING MUSLIMS WHO VIOLENTLY ATTACKED NOT JUST TOURISTS AND JEWS ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT BUT IDF SOLDIERS AND POLICE AS WELL. 
WANDERING GANGS OF ARABIC TEENAGERS AND CHILDREN WHO ARE RANDOMLY ATTACKING PEOPLE NEAR THE TEMPLE SITE HAVE ADDED TO THE VIOLENCE AND TENSION. BOTH MUSLIM AND JEWISH LEADERS HAVE CALLED THEM "UNCONTROLLABLE".

"[THIS] is the most serious and prolonged period of unrest since the second intifada began waning nearly a decade ago. Glick, advocates the return of Jews to the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism and the most sensitive area in Jerusalem.
 After the attempted murder of Glick and death of the would-be assassin, Israel closed off the entire Temple Mount.
"Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas calls Israel's decision to temporarily close the site a 'declaration of war'."
Mustafa Barghouti, a senior Palestinian Authority official, issued a press release announcing that a third intifada was underway, and, in anticipation of the Muslim prayers on Friday, calling on the “Palestinian people as a whole to defend the Al Aqsa Mosque, the dignity of the Palestinian people, and their freedom.”

"'The attack on Glick and the killing of Mr. Hijazi mark the second serious incident in Jerusalem in a week. On Oct. 22, Abdul Rahman al-Shaludi drove his car into a crowd waiting at a light-rail stop on the seam between East and West Jerusalem, killing a Jewish baby. Israeli police shot him and he later died.'"

MANY JEWS ARE NOW CLAMORING FOR ISRAEL TO TAKE BACK TOTAL CONTROL OF THE TEMPLE RUINS AND ALLOW ALL RELIGIONS TO PRAY ATOP THE TEMPLE MOUNT. 

MK Moshe Feiglin: Control Temple Mt, or Lose Control of Israel

“This morning on the Mount,” Feiglin continued,  “I was surrounded by police security, while the Arabs were free to walk about. That is just one more way to see who feels at home on the Mount and who feels like an intruder. With G-d’s help, we will change that status quo,” he concluded.
Without control over the Temple Mount, Israel will lose its control over the rest of the Land,” said MK Moshe Feiglin after visiting the Mount on Sunday morning. “Even saying that Jewish return to the Temple Mount provokes violence encourages Arab violence. Pointing an accusing finger – even indirectly – at the victims of the violence instead of a wholehearted determined effort to deal with the perpetrators, empowers the terrorists. It shows the side from which the would-be assassin came that violence pays; it encourages continued murderousness.”

AFTER HIS VISIT TO THE TOP OF THE TEMPLE SITE, FEIGLIN IMMEDIATELY WAS FACED WITH DEATH THREATS, CYBER-STALKING ENSUED AND VIDEO APPEARING ON ISLAMIC WEBSITES SAID HE HAD "STORMED THE MUSLIM HOLY SITE". 

SIMILAR THREATS WERE MADE AGAINST PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA WHEN HE SAID HE MIGHT VISIT THE TOP OF THE MOUNT. 
YES, THEY THREATENED A U.S. PRESIDENT! 

‘Declaration Of War’ If Obama Visits Temple Mount

LOOKS TO ME AS THOUGH IF A NON-MUSLIM SO MUCH AS BREATHES IT'S A "DECLARATION OF WAR".... A WAR THAT WOULD BE LOST....YET AGAIN!  

BINYAMIN NETANYAHU HAS CALLED FOR CALM AND HAS SAID ISRAEL HAS NO INTENTION OF TAKING AWAY AUTHORITY FROM THE WAQF, 
"Netanyahu spokesman Mark Regev dismissed concerns that Israeli religious leaders will be given control over the site as “ridiculous” and insisted that the status quo would be “scrupulously” upheld."

SINCE THE ISRAELI VICTORY IN 1967 IN WHICH JERUSALEM WAS RECLAIMED AND JEWS COULD ONCE AGAIN PRAY AT THE 'KOTEL', THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT HAS ALLOWED MUSLIM LEADERS CONTROL OF THE ACTUAL TEMPLE MOUNT. THOSE LEADERS HAVE FORBIDDEN JEWS AND NON-MUSLIMS FROM PRAYING NEAR THE AL AQSA MOSQUE.  
ANYONE BESIDES MUSLIMS CAUGHT PRAYING ON THE MOUNT ARE ATTACKED AND ARE IN DANGER OF STONING, ARREST OR WORSE. 

NOW, OR SO IT SEEMS, JEWS ARE MORE AND MORE LEANING TOWARD TAKING BACK CONTROL OF ALL OF JERUSALEM, INCLUDING THE TEMPLE MOUNT.
A GROWING NUMBER ARE EVEN CALLING FOR REBUILDING THE TEMPLE ATOP THE MOUNT.  
SEVERAL GROUPS WITHIN ISRAEL HAVE EVEN BEGUN PREPARING THE HOLY VESSELS AND FITTINGS FOR A NEW TEMPLE, AND VESTMENTS OF THE PRIESTS, TRAINING YOUNG MEN TO TAKE ON THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRIESTHOOD, BREEDING ANIMALS FOR RITUAL SACRIFICE, AND HAVE HEWN THE CORNERSTONE FOR THE NEW TEMPLE. 
THEY ARGUE THAT ISRAEL WON THE RIGHT, THE VICTORY, TO CONTROL JERUSALEM, THE TEMPLE MOUNT AND TO BUILD ATOP IT IF ISRAEL SO PLEASES.
DECADES OF PERSECUTION AND DISCRIMINATION OF JEWS WHO WANT TO VISIT THE TOP OF THE MOUNT HAVE PUSHED MANY IN THIS DIRECTION.  

IF THE ARABIC NATIONS HAD WON A WAR WITH ISRAEL, WOULDN'T THEY CLAIM JUST SUCH A RIGHT? 

TWO U.S. CONGRESSMEN WERE EYEWITNESS TO THE DISCRIMINATION SHOWN NON-MUSLIMS BEFORE THINGS GOT EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND REPORTED THEIR CONCERN UPON THEIR RETURN TO THE U.S. THIS PAST SPRING.
"[They] witnessed how Jewish groups are singled out and closely followed by “guards” from the Islamic Waqf trust which administers the site, as well as Israeli police officers, both of whom scrutinize their behavior for any signs that they might be engaging in Jewish prayers or any other non-Muslim form of worship.
Congressmen Andrew Harris (R- Maryland) and Ron DeSantis (R-Florida) were taken on a tour of the holy site in Jerusalem by Rabbi Chaim Richman, International Director of the Temple Institute.  
Congressman Andrew Harris expressed his concern at the lack of religious freedom on the site. “I’m actually surprised that access is so limited and especially the discrimination against Jews above any other religion in visits to the Temple Mount. It surprises me as an American, believing in religious freedom, that [such religious discrimination] would exist.”  

THE INSISTENCE OF THE WAQF THAT NO JEW CAN PRAY ON THAT ANCIENT TEMPLE MOUNT, THE PLACE WHERE THE GRAND TEMPLE OF SOLOMON SAT, MAY HAVE COME BACK TO BITE THEM.  
IF JEWS CAN ALLOW MUSLIMS TO WORSHIP FREELY ALL OVER ISRAEL, AND DID NOT INSIST ON A COMPLETE EVACUATION OF JERUSALEM BY MUSLIMS WHO LOST ALL WARS AGAINST ISRAEL, THEN IT WOULD SEEM THAT THE WAQF MIGHT RECONSIDER THE BAN ON ALL BUT MUSLIM PRAYER UP ON THAT "ROCK".  

IF THEY CONTINUE AS THEY HAVE RECENTLY, WHAT CHOICE WILL THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT HAVE BUT TO DISQUALIFY THE WAQF FROM MANAGING THE SITE?  
IF FOREIGN VISITORS AND JEWS ALIKE ARE CONTINUOUSLY ATTACKED AND PERSECUTED FOR VISITING THE PLACE, SANITY AND PEACE WILL HAVE TO BE RESTORED SOME OTHER WAY, RIGHT?  

THE "MUSLIM AUTHORITY" SHOULD RECONSIDER THE RESULT OF ITS BANS.

ALJAZEERA REPORTS:
The Egyptian army has been destroying houses near the border with Gaza, in an effort to create a security buffer zone near the Rafah crossing.

Egypt is destroying more than 680 homes along its border with Gaza and as many as 10,000 people are being evicted in order to clear the area for a buffer zone.

In the wake of Friday’s attack in northern Sinai, which killed 33 Egyptian soldiers, Cairo has raised the idea of a building an eight-mile barrier along its border with Gaza to deter Islamist terrorists from moving in and out of the Palestinian territory.  

Egypt, which has declared a three-month state of emergency in northern Sinai, also cancelled its planned role as mediator between Israel and Hamas in talks aimed at maintaining a ceasefire...

FURTHER CLAMP-DOWN ON HAMAS, ISLAMIC BROTHERHOOD

Local Egyptian media has reported that Sisi has sent reinforcements to bolster 12 existing battalions as well as sending Egypt’s elite 777th and 999th units to strategic locations in northern Sinai and that helicopter gunships killed six terrorist on Sunday. Egypt is facing a serious threat in Sinai from, among others, the Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis Islamist terror group, which appears to be using Gaza as a safe haven. The terrorists are believed to be crossing via terror tunnels, even though Egypt has reportedly destroyed more than 1,800 underground passages in a bid to clamp down on Hamas and other terror groups operating there.

Egypt would like to create a buffer zone where there are no houses and no vegetation.

Egypt would have to ALSO expel 100,000 Bedouins from northern Sinai to establish such a zone.

The “foreign powers” Al Sisi referred to in a speech on Egyptian television as fomenting attacks launched from Gaza and funding terror operations in Sinai are thought to be Qatar, Turkey and Iran.

Following Friday’s attack, the Rafah crossing between southern Gaza and Egypt was closed immediately and will reportedly remain closed indefinitely. 

Hamas leaders have reportedly stated that Gaza will “explode” if the Rafah crossing is not re-opened quickly.

WHY IS EGYPT DIFFERENT?  

BECAUSE EGYPTIAN SOLDIERS, NOT IDF, WERE KILLED?

AL-SISI NOW VOWS TO DESTROY ALL TUNNELS, STOP THE ARMS FLOW INTO GAZA,AND DRIVE OUT HAMAS. 

HOW MANY MORE WALLS WILL HAVE TO BE ERECTED BEFORE THE PEOPLE OF GAZA TURN ON THE REAL ENEMY, HAMAS?

HAMAS IS INTENT ON SACRIFICING ALL OF GAZA, IF NEED BE, WHILE ITS LEADERS HIDE OUT IN OTHER NATIONS, OR DEEP BELOW HOSPITALS, SCHOOLS, MOSQUES.

THIS MOVE BY EGYPT MAY BE JUST WHAT CIVILIANS IN GAZA NEED TO OUST HAMAS, SEEK THEIR OWN PEACE WITH ALL THEIR NEIGHBORS.
