For those of you who do not live in America, this may be "new" news, but it has been fairly widely known for at least 10 years that the CIA OFTEN hired Blackwater for several "errands".
Last month, however, after about three long years, U.S. federal prosecutors dropped felony charges against Blackwater personnel after it was "suddenly" revealed that the employees had been acting under the orders of the US government/CIA. After THAT three-year-long prosecution, most of the company’s executives walked free and two men received nothing more than probation, house arrest and $5,000 fines.
TO GET OFF SCOTT-FREE IS NOTHING NEW FOR BLACKWATER.
"Ex-Blackwater Employees' Felony Charges Dropped, Said CIA Told Them To Provide King With Rifles"
02/22/13
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/22/blackwayer-prosecution-charges-dropped_n_2741850.html
<<The federal prosecution of five former employees of the private security firm Blackwater has crumbled after the defendants said they were acting at the behest of the CIA by providing five guns as gifts to King Abdullah II of Jordan.
All charges against three of the accused were dismissed Thursday at the request of prosecutors after a federal judge ruled earlier this month to reduce several of the felony charges to misdemeanors.
Under a plea agreement, Jackson and former company vice president William Matthews admitted guilt Thursday on misdemeanor charges related to record keeping violations, resulting in $5,000 fines and four months house arrest. They had originally faced decades in prison on 12 felony charges each.
Naturally, the whole thing got bloody little "press" in America, but we must remember that articles on the malfunction of celebrity clothing and other "soft porn" rakes in more advertising bucks than something like this, and besides, why risk pissing the Washington prima donnas off, right? Just ignore it, it will go away.
Well, good old patriotic superhero Erik Prince, founder of Blackwater , which has undergone a few name changes and is now "Academi", is NOW quite happy to reveal to us that his firm “became a virtual extension of the CIA,” taking orders from the agency.
Whatever! We knew that in 2004.
Same goes for the goons that work for Dick Cheney's baby, Haliburton, in the Middle East, dare we presume?
When the chef, Julia Childs was "outed" as an operative, I knew right then...ANYTHING GOES!
The CIA may have "enlisted" Mickey Mouse, who knows?
Giving the 'devil' its dues, the grand old New York Times posted this piece, almost 4 years ago.
"Blackwater Guards Tied to Secret C.I.A. Raids"
December 10, 2009
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/11/us/politics/11blackwater.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0
<< Private security guards from Blackwater Worldwide participated in some of the C.I.A.’s most sensitive activities — clandestine raids with agency officers against people suspected of being insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan and the transporting of detainees, according to former company employees and intelligence officials.
The raids against suspects occurred on an almost nightly basis during the height of the Iraqi insurgency from 2004 to 2006, with Blackwater personnel playing central roles in what company insiders called “snatch and grab” operations, the former employees and current and former intelligence officers said.
Several former Blackwater guards said that their involvement in the operations became so routine that the lines supposedly dividing the Central Intelligence Agency, the military and Blackwater became blurred. Instead of simply providing security for C.I.A. officers, they say, Blackwater personnel at times became partners in missions to capture or kill militants in Iraq and Afghanistan, a practice that raises questions about the use of guns for hire on the battlefield. >>
Well, secret raids may be a stretch.
The CIA doesn't NEED do much in secret anymore because our last 2 presidents have made everything legal that pertains to such as "covert operations", spying on people, arresting indiscriminately, kidnapping, detaining without trial, or "droning", or otherwise killing, or labeling a "terrorist" whomever the CIA/FBI/TSA/FEMA/DHS, and maybe even the United States Postal Service, can line up to "take down" or get in the cross-hairs of a sniper rifle...so why bother being "secret", eh?
IS THERE A NATION ON THE PLANET THAT THE CIA HASN'T DONE A "HIT" IN?
IT'S OPEN SEASON ON THE ENTIRE WORLD! GO FOR IT!
AS USUAL, 'RUSSIA TODAY' DID A BETTER JOB ON THIS THAN HUFF-POST.
FROM THAT 'RT' ARTICLE :
http://rt.com/usa/blackwater-cia-extension-prince-273/
"Prince" (no relation to the musician who used to go by the same name, sort of) offered this, as well, which should clue us in on how bad things are for the CIA?
<<“Blackwater’s work with the CIA began when we provided specialized instructors and facilities that the Agency lacked,” Prince told the Daily Beast.“In the years that followed, the company became a virtual extension of the CIA because we were asked time and again to carry out dangerous missions, which the agency either could not or would not do in-house.”>>
WHAT? THE CIA DIDN'T HAVE AS GOOD AS BLACKWATER HAD? BLACKWATER IS 'COOLER' THAN THE CIA? I AM APPALLED! WE NEED TO GET OBAMA ON THIS IMMEDIATELY! THIS MAKES AMERICA LOOK BAD, REEEEAAALLY BAD!
WHAT, PRECISELY, DOES BLACKWATER HAVE THAT THE CIA LACKS? WE NEED A LIST!
AMERICANS, WRITE YOUR ELECTED LIARS NOW, RIGHT NOW! THE CIA NEEDS US!
<tongue in cheek, and on we go>
IT ONLY GETS WORSE!
<<When King Abdullah of Jordan visited the US in 2005, he took a trip to the Blackwater headquarters in Moyock, North Carolina, where company executives awarded him two gifts – a modified Bushmaster AR-15 rifle and a Remington shotgun. The weapons were labeled with the Blackwater logo, but Prince says that the CIA asked the company to give Abdullah the guns “when people at the agency had forgotten to get gifts for him.”>>
THEY CAN'T BE SERIOUS! THE CIA FORGOT TO BUY, BUY, BUY FOR THAT SWEET OLD KING? PERISH THE THOUGHT! GOOD THING WE FOUND A WAY TO SUCK-UP TO ABDULLAH BEFORE WE TICKED HIM OFF! WHEW! THAT WAS CLOSE!
[Say, I live not so far from Moyock...wonder if I ran over there, I TOO could haul back a couple of those 'bad' guns? Maybe I'll call tomorrow...it's worth a try!]
ATF DOES NOT LOVE BLACKWATER AS MUCH AS THE CIA DOES.
<<In a 2008 raid of the Blackwater headquarters, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discovered that the weapons given to Abdullah had been registered as personal property by two employees at the agency – and there was no paperwork indicating that they were now in the possession of Jordanian royalty.
[SO, DID THE KING GO HOME EMPTY-HANDED AFTER ALL?]
Additionally, the ATF found that MANY of Blackwater’s weapons had been purchased illegally. Some of these weapons, which included Romanian AK-47s and 17 Bushmaster AR-13s, had illegally had their barrels shortened and been exported to other countries in violation of federal gun laws.
HOLD ON! DIDN'T THE FEDS KILL THE PEOPLE UP ON RUBY RIDGE FOR JUST THAT THING OF A "SHORTENED BARREL"? THEY BLOODY WELL DID! AND THERE WAS SOME TALK ABOUT THAT AFTER THE WACO MASSACRE, TOO!
[PLEASE SEE THESE SITES IF YOU WANT MORE INFO ON HOW THINGS TOO OFTEN WORK IN AMERICA, INC:

AND

BUT NO ONE GOT SHOT AT BLACKWATER FOR THE SAME THING, EH?
MAKES ONE WONDER WHY NOT, DOESN'T IT?
AND THEY IMPORTED/EXPORTED ILLEGAL WEAPONS, TOO?
BUT NO ONE WENT TO FEDERAL PRISON?
THEY DIDN'T BRING BACK JANET RENO TO ORDER IN TANKS AND INCENDIARY DEVICES?
MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL GO SIGN UP WITH BLACKWATER!
BLACKWATER EMPLOYEES WALKED, NO FEDERAL CHARGES TO SPEAK OF, BUT "THE PRINCE" ( ERIK) IS PISSED-OFF!
<<“The CIA routinely used Blackwater in missions throughout the world,” one document reads. “These efforts were made under written and unwritten contracts and through informal requests. On many occasions the CIA paid Blackwater nothing for its assistance. Blackwater also employed CIA officers and agents, and provided cover to CIA agents and officers operating in covert and clandestine assignments. In many respects, Blackwater, or at least portions of Blackwater, was an extension of the CIA.”>>
WELL, "SHOCK AND AWE", YES?
SHOCK AND AWE THAT THERE IS NO JUSTICE, YET AGAIN.
<<Prince told the Daily Beast that he agreed to provide the CIA with free services out of “patriotic duty”. And even though he sold Blackwater, now known as Academi, for $200 million, he continues to hold a grudge against prosecutors for going after the company.
“Blackwater carried out countless life-threatening missions for the CIA,” he said. “And in return, the government chose to prosecute my people for doing exactly what was asked of them.”>>
FREE SERVICES? ONLY IF IT WAS A TRADE-OFF! BLACKWATER DOES THE CRIMES, NOBODY DOES THE TIME IN FEDERAL PRISON, MAYBE? FREE? I'D BET THE FARM THERE WAS NO REAL "FREE"!
CRY ME A RIVER AND HOLD YOUR GRUDGE, PRINCE. SEE IF THAT GETS YOU BAILED OUT NEXT TIME, AND THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME IF JUSTICE IS EVER REAL JUSTICE ANYMORE IN AMERICA!
BY THE WAY, WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE CHARGES LODGED AGAINST BLACKWATER FOR THOSE 17 APPARENT MURDERS IN IRAQ?

"Iraqis Angered as Blackwater Charges Are Dropped"
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/02/us/02blackwater.html
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE VIDEO TAPES THE IRAQIS HAD? "DISAPPEARED"?
THINGS HAVE A WAY OF "DISAPPEARING" WHEN NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE THE HEAT, HMMM?
"Iraq: Blackwater staff to face charges"
September 23, 2007
http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/09/23/blackwater.probe/
<<Iraqi officials, who claim the shootings were unprovoked, dispute Blackwater's claim that the guards were responding to an attack and said on Saturday they had a videotape showing the Blackwater guards opened fire without provocation. Meanwhile, 19 bodies were found by Iraqi police in Baghdad over the weekend, an Interior Ministry official told CNN on Sunday. The total number of bodies reported to be found in the capital this month is 251.>>
VERY LIGHT SENTENCE ON THIS ONE!
"Contractor Sentenced in Afghan Death"
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
http://www.wvec.com/my-city/vabeach/Former-Blackwater-contractor-gets-37-years-in-prison-123848844.html
<<A former Blackwater contractor has been sentenced to three years and one month in prison for the May 2009 shooting death of an unarmed Afghan civilian in Kabul.>>
BLACKWATER EMPLOYED CIA AGENTS?REALLY?
IS THAT LEGAL?
SILLY ME, IT MUST BE!
NOTHING IS ILLEGAL IF A FEDERAL AGENCY (OR THE FEDERAL RESERVE, WHICH IS NOT A FEDERAL AGENCY) DOES IT.
I FORGOT...OUR CONSTITUTION WAS SHREDDED, URINATED ON, AND BURNED WAY BACK IN 1913.
I MISS IT VERY MUCH.
AND THAT'S OUR LESSON FOR TODAY, CADETS... IT'S STILL ABOUT WHO YOU KNOW AND WHO KNOWS YOU HERE IN AMERICA, AND WHETHER OR NOT YOU "PLAY NICE" WITH THE "POWERS THAT BE"...
IF YOU PLAY FOOTSIES WITH THE FEDS, YOU, TOO CAN GET AWAY WITH ...OH, JUST ABOUT ANYTHING.
OH, ALMOST FORGOT...BLACKWATER WAS HIRED TO GO INTO NEW ORLEANS AFTER KATRINA, AMERICANS!
THEY WERE HIRED BY OUR GOVERNMENT THEN, TOO!
DOES THAT COMFORT ANYONE LIVING HERE? ANYONE AT ALL?
AND THIS NEXT VIDEO...SHOWS INDISCRIMINATE FIRING ON CIVILIANS BY THE "NEW BLACKWATER", aka, "ACADEMI", SHOWS THEM RUNNING OVER CARS, AND VEERING TO HIT A PEDESTRIAN JUST "FOR FUN". YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE NAMES IMPRINTED ON THE VEHICLES THAT ARE DOING THIS. YOU CAN ALSO SEE THE SHELL CASINGS BEING EJECTED FROM THEIR WEAPONS.
ANOTHER LOOK AT THAT.
NEXT VIDEO SHOWS MORE CLEARLY THE HIT AND RUN OF THE IRAQI WOMAN AND HOW SHE IS LEFT TO DIE.(This video was released by Harper's Magazine showing private contractors from Blackwater in Iraq hitting cars in traffic and running over a woman, then fleeing the scene.)

TWO "JOHN DOES" , FORMER BLACKWATER EMPLOYEES, ONE AN EX-MARINE, GAVE TESTIMONY THAT THEY WERE THREATENED WITH DEATH BY BLACKWATER,

THE FOLLOWING REPORT CAME OUT OF THOSE ACCUSATIONS.
