An unidentified military source said it indicates the possibility that Pyongyang is planning a missile test.
Satellite imagery suggests the mobile missile launchers are for short-range Scud missiles.
South Korea and its allies have been expecting a provocative act from Pyongyang after weeks of war talk on the Korean peninsula.
Some analysts suggest that North Korea may well choose April 25 for a show of defiance to coincide with the anniversary of the formation of its army.>>

According to natural law, common law, the U.S. Constitution, and international law, a government may not exercise absolute power over any fundamental right held by a human being.7 Instead, checks and balances, individual liberty, and due process are all required in specific and direct measure. So for example, a government may not:
(1) make it a crime to engage in peaceful actions necessary for living, like sleeping;
or
(2) make it a crime to simply exist in a certain natural way, like being Jewish,  or naked, or being unvaccinated.

In a working, lawful Republic, citizens don't, never would, allow any ruler to exercise absolute power over ANY fundamental right. Yet we see otherwise free citizens routinely fail to meet their CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY of maintaining checks and balances on government.

BACK TO AMERICA...
Common Law protects Americans as well... See e.g., right of consent, prohibitions on unreasonable force, freedom from arbitrary arrest. Union Pac. Ry. Co. v. Botsford, 141 U.S. 250, 251 (1891) (stating that the common law carefully guards the right of every individual to the possession and control of his own person).
Hopefully, citizens are aware of basic legal rights and limits. For example, most people surely realize that the government cannot lawfully make it a crime to have brown eyes.
Why?
Because there is no way for a brown-eyed person to ever safely obey that rule to avoid punishment! His eyes will be brown so long as he lives! 
SHOULD HE PLUCK OUT HIS EYES TO OBEY SUCH A LAW?
NO!
Even to FORCE him to wear sunglasses would be to make being "peacefully natural" a crime. Or, even more forcefully, where a rule punishes a peaceful man for being natural, it is not law, but a declaration of absolute power by a tyrannical government body or agent.
THAT WOULD DEFINE TYRANNY!
As the Supreme Court stated in Shuttlesworth v. Birmingham, 394 U.S. 147, 151 (1969), "It is settled by a long line of recent decisions of this Court that an ordinance which, like this one, makes the peaceful enjoyment of freedoms which the Constitution guarantees contingent upon the uncontrolled will of an official -- as by requiring a permit or license which may be granted or withheld in the discretion of such official -- is an unconstitutional censorship or prior restraint upon the enjoyment of those freedoms.'" Staub v. Baxley, 355 U. S. 313,  322. "'And our decisions have made clear that a person faced with such an unconstitutional licensing law may ignore it and engage with impunity in the exercise of the right of free expression for which the law purports to require a license.'"

THERE IS PRECEDENT TO STAND ON! SO STAND WE MUST!
A legal right only becomes inalienable IF it cannot be separated from a peaceful man WITHOUT DESTROYING THAT MAN (i.e., right of self-defense, or right to exist naturally). Not only does this principle serve as a pillar for both classic and modern law, it is found in a work I often reference here: George Orwell‘s novel 1984, in which he wrote, "'Thoughtcrime does not entail death. It is death.'"

THAT IS WHERE WE ARE IN AMERICA, FELLOW CITIZENS! WE ARE BEING DENIED FAIR TRIAL, INALIENABLE RIGHTS, FREE AND NATURAL CHOICES, AND ARE BEING HERDED LIKE LIVESTOCK INTO ACCEPTING THE FATE OF FARM ANIMALS AND PRISONERS!

Unprosecuted crimes against humanity are carried out daily by a host of agents within the world‘s modern military-industrial complexes, yet much of the public remains under-informed, if not in denial and disbelief at the magnitude of what presidents in America since FDR have been calling "the New World Order".

THE GOLD PANIC : KEEP YOUR GOLD!

COME, LET US REASON TOGETHER OVER THIS SUDDEN DOWNTURN OF THE PRICE OF GOLD.
This past Monday, April 15, we witnessed an obvious "take-down" of gold and silver.
Experts say it was unlike anything we've witnessed in decades. The price of gold fell by more than 10 percent at one point and shocked investors all over the world. Those who held gold were frantic as this steep decline gutted what they thought was a "safe investment". Silver prices dropped even more rapidly, down more than 14% at one point.  There was panic selling, people raced to liquidate their holdings, and SOMEBODY got a lot of gold much cheaper than they could get it in the past 30 years or so.

But I must wonder if anyone stopped and asked, as I did, WHY this happened and IF it was an intentional, FORCED panic. Was this exactly what I wrote earlier might surely happen, with the FED and others in the international banking cartel manipulating the market? The FED still owes GERMANY an enormous amount of gold, after all, and a fallen market surely makes it cheaper to replace what's gone, doesn't it? Was it also certain nations joining in to bottom-out precious metals so they could grab the rather small amount of dug gold available to the world market? Did anyone else notice that our mainstream media outlets and all our big banks on the globe had been telling us for weeks that gold was entering a bear market and that NOW was the time to SELL, SELL, SELL? Remember when Rothschild grabbed the financial reins of England with his dirty tricks and rumors after Napoleon was defeated, before anyone knew Napoleon had lost? Is this the same dirty trick?
Our financial gurus, our "advisers", especially the 'sneaky snakes' at Goldman Sachs who were advising clients for about the past month  <quote> "[we] recommend initiating a short COMEX gold position" were pushing us to sell. Could they have a crystal ball over there, some sort of wizard that can see such futuristic things, or dare we believe they just made a "good educated guess"?
For me, too many Wall Street "wizards" were singing the SAME song...sell, sell, hurry and sell before it's too late!
I have noticed in my 50 years or so of observing the market that when ALL the "BIG DOGS" howl in the same key, something is rotten on Wall Street, SOMETHING is going on that we should pay attention to.

Remain calm. Be prepared for WILD fluctuations in gold prices over the next many years.  There will be times when gold and silver will absolutely soar and there will be times when they drop like a rock, but gold will remain gold.It is NOT going away as one of the few things worth hanging onto in case our future is one without the U.S. dollar, the Euro, or any other fiat "paper".

2nd BOMBING SUSPECT CAPTURED ALIVE

The Boston Marathon bombing suspect was captured alive but wounded Friday night -- holed up in a boat in a suburban backyard following a bloody rampage that left a cop dead and a daylong manhunt that shut down the city.
The arrest of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, and the earlier death of his brother during a firefight with cops, ended five days of terror sowed by the double bombing at the marathon finish line, which killed three people, wounded 176 and left the city of Boston on edge.
"We got him," Boston Mayor Tom Menino tweeted.
"CAPTURED!!! The hunt is over. The search is done. The terror is over. And justice has won," the Boston Police Department said on its Twitter account.

Police arrested the 19-year-old at about 8:45 p.m., after finding him holed up in a boat stored in the backyard of a Watertown residence. He was led to an ambulance and driven to a hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.

TWO BROTHERS FROM CHECHNYA HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED AS THE SUBJECTS OF A MANHUNT IN THE BOSTON MARATHON BOMBINGS AND ONE BROTHER HAS BEEN KILLED IN A SHOOTOUT WITH POLICE.
KILLED WAS THE OLDER BROTHER, TAMERLAN TSARNAEV, 26.
SURVIVING YOUNGER BROTHER, DZHOKHAR A. TSARNAEV, 19, IS THE SUBJECT OF A POLICE MANHUNT AND HIS WHEREABOUTS ARE UNKNOWN.
THERE WERE SEVERAL EXPLOSIVE DEVICES DETONATED AND LEFT BEHIND DURING AND AFTER THE CONFRONTATION WITH  MASSACHUSETTS LAW ENFORCEMENT, SEVERAL OFFICERS WERE EITHER WOUNDED OR KILLED.

The pursuit began after 10 p.m. Thursday when two men robbed a convenience store in Cambridge. A security camera caught a man identified as one of the suspects wearing a gray hooded shirt.
About 10:30 p.m., the police received reports that Sean Collier, a campus security officer at M.I.T., had been shot while he sat in his police cruiser. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement issued by the acting Middlesex district attorney, Michael Pelgro, Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert C. Haas and the M.I.T. police chief, John DiFava. The officer was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
 A short time later, the police received reports of an armed carjacking of a Mercedes sport-utility vehicle by two males in the area of Third Street in Cambridge, the statement said. “The victim was carjacked at gunpoint by two males and was kept in the car with the suspects for approximately a half-hour,” the statement said. He was later released, uninjured, at a gas station on Memorial Drive in Cambridge.

The police immediately began to search for the vehicle and pursued it into Watertown. During the chase, “explosive devices were reportedly thrown from car by the suspects,” the statement said, and the suspects and police exchanged gunfire in the area of Dexter Avenue and Laurel Street.

During that exchange, a transit police officer was shot and critically wounded. The wounded transit police officer was identified as Richard H. Donohue, and he was taken to Mt. Auburn Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition Friday morning.

The officer had nearly bled to death from a gunshot wound to his right leg when he arrived at the hospital, said a person familiar with his treatment. The hospital’s trauma team gave him a blood transfusion and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and got his blood pressure back up, but he was still on a ventilator, the person said.

A Watertown resident, Andrew Kitzenberg, 29, said he looked out his third-floor window to see two young men of slight build in jackets engaged in “constant gunfire” with police officers. A police S.U.V. “drove towards the shooters,” he said, and was shot at until it was severely damaged. It rolled out of control, Mr. Kitzenberg said, and crashed into two cars in his driveway.

The two shooters, he said, had a large, unwieldy bomb that he said looked “like a pressure cooker.”

“They lit it, still in the middle of the gunfire, and threw it,” he said. “But it went 20 yards at most.” It exploded, he said, and one man ran toward the gathered police officers. He was tackled, but it was not clear if he was shot, Mr. Kitzenberg said.

 Meanwhile, Mr. Kitzenberg said the other man got back into the S.U.V., turned it toward officers and “put the pedal to the metal.” The car “went right through the cops, broke right through and continued west.”

The two men left “a few backpacks right by the car, and there is a bomb robot out there now,” he said.

During this exchange, an MBTA police officer was seriously wounded and taken to the hospital.

At the same time, Tamerlan Tsarnaev was critically injured with multiple gunshot wounds and taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, where he was pronounced dead at 1:35 a.m., officials said.

Col. Timothy P. Alben of the Massachusetts State Police said investigators believed that the two men were responsible for the death of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer and the shooting of an officer with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, the region’s transit authority. “We believe these are the same individuals that were responsible for the bombing on Monday at the Boston Marathon,” he said.

Officials said that the two men were of Chechen origin. Chechnya, a long-disputed, predominantly Muslim territory in southern Russia sought independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union and then fought two bloody wars with the authorities in Moscow.

The two suspects were identified by law enforcement officials as brothers. The surviving suspect was identified as Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, of Cambridge, Mass., a law enforcement official said. The one who was killed was identified as his brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26. The authorities were investigating whether the dead man had a homemade bomb strapped to his body when he was killed, two law enforcement officials said.

The family lived briefly in Makhachkala, the capital of the Dagestan region, near Chechnya, before moving to the United States, said a school administrator there. Irina V. Bandurina, secretary to the director of School No. 1, said the Tsarnaev family left Dagestan for the United States in 2002 after living there for about a year. She said the family — parents, two boys and two girls — had lived in the Central Asian nation of Kyrgyzstan previously.

But Texas governor Rick Perry said he "was not comfortable" releasing the number of dead as search and rescue operations were underway. The explosion roughly 20 miles north of Waco erupted as firefighters battled a blaze at the plant. The eruption registered as a 2.1 magnitude earthquake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, and sent up a massive plume of smoke that could be seen up to 45 miles away. 

Texas emergency officials are still unsure what caused the blast, and a special response team of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has been sent to the site.
McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara said more than 200 law enforcement officers from throughout Texas were attempting to recover bodies from the debris and rescue possible survivors. McNamara, who has been sheriff for only four months, said he wouldn’t have a full count of the dead and missing until later Thursday.
“This is heartbreaking. There’s no other way to describe it,” he said. “The devastation was unbelievable.”>>

Volunteer firefighters were among the missing following the blast on Wednesday night, said Sgt. William Patrick Swanton of the Waco, Texas, police department.
Firefighters had been fighting a fire at the West Fertilizer Co for about 20 minutes before the 8 p.m. blast rocked West, a town of 2,700 people about 20 miles north of Waco.

The plant had tanks of volatile anhydrous ammonia, including what initial reports said was a tanker-sized container like those hauled on freight trains, Swanton said at a news conference on Thursday. However, the immediate threat from fumes appeared to have abated, he said.
The blast destroyed 60 to 80 houses, officials said. It reduced a 50-unit apartment complex to what one local official called "a skeleton standing up" and left a horrific landscape of burned-out buildings and blackened rubble.
"It looks like a war zone with all the debris," McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara said.

Emergency crews were moving from house to house in a search and rescue operation, Swanton said.
"That's good news to me, meaning that they're probably still getting injured people," he said. "They have not gotten to the point of no return where they don't think that there's anybody still alive.""There are still firefighters missing," Swanton said. "They were actively fighting the fire at the time the explosion occurred."

The explosion came two days before the 20th anniversary of a fire in Waco, a short distance away,  that engulfed a compound inhabited by David Koresh and his followers in the Branch Davidian religious sect, ending a siege by federal agents. About 82 members of the sect and four federal agents died at Waco.
In West, witness Kevin Smith told CBS News he had just climbed the stairs to the second floor of his home when he felt the blast.
"The house exploded. It was just a bright flash and a roar, I thought it was lightning striking the house," Smith said. "I felt myself flying through the air about 10 feet, and it took a second or two to realize that the roof had caved in on me so I knew it wasn't lightning."
Three hospitals in Waco and Dallas reported treating more than 160 injuries from the blast.

At dawn on April 19, 1993, and throughout the morning, tanks rammed holes in the main building and pumped (in the FBI's words) "massive amounts" of CS gas into the building, despite knowing that inside were more than a dozen children. The tanks demolished parts of the compound and created tunnels for the wind to blow through. The buildings at this point were saturated with inflammable CS gas and spilled kerosene.

Around midday two U.S. military pyrotechnic devices were fired into the main building, igniting a fire which (because of the holes in the walls allowing the wind to gust through) spread rapidly through the complex of buildings and became an inferno. 74 men, women and children died — including twelve children younger than five years of age. Fire trucks were prevented by the FBI from approaching the inferno. After the compound had burned down the BATF flag was hoisted aloft to signify 'victory'. Subsequently the burned-out ruin was razed in an attempt to remove all evidence of this premeditated murder of innocent civilians by agents of the U.S. government. The video is believed to be of the crowd around the finish line of Monday's race where two bombs exploded, killing three and injuring 176.

Earlier, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said investigators were seeking individuals seen in footage or photos. Napolitano stopped short of calling the individuals suspects or describing them or their demeanor in her remarks, made to the House Homeland Security Committee on Thursday. Napolitano also said it remains unclear whether the bombs that exploded near the finish line of the storied race, killing three and injuring 176, were the work of foreign or domestic terrorists. She said the investigation is continuing "apace."

"We have been collecting video from a variety of sources, as you might imagine, at the finish line of the Boston Marathon," Napolitano said. "There's lots and lots of video. There is some video that has raised the question of those that the FBI would like to speak with. I wouldn't characterize them as suspects under the technical term. But we need the public's help in locating these individuals.">>

<<Most of the Marines involved in Tuesday’s helicopter crash near the North Korean border were Hawaii-based infantry personnel, a military official said.

All 21 U.S. troops on board the CH-53E Super Stallion survived what’s been called a “hard landing” near a South Korean training range only miles from the Demilitarized Zone. Three Marines, including an enlisted crew member, and two U.S. soldiers remain hospitalized in stable condition, 1st Lt. Gregory Carroll, a Marine spokesman based in Japan, said Wednesday. He described the injuries as minor, mostly cuts and fractures.

The troops were participating in an annual joint training exercise called 'Foal Eagle'. It involves about 10,000 U.S. military personnel partnered with their South Korean counterparts and is scheduled to end April 30.

The CH-53E, one of the Corps’ workhorse transports, was deployed to South Korea from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 465 out of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in southern California, said Capt. Garron Garn, a spokesman for the Japan-based 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, to which the aircraft was assigned while overseas. Its five-person crew was carrying 14 infantry troops with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines, out of Marine Corps Base Hawaii, plus the two soldiers who are based in South Korea, Carroll said.

The military has not identified anyone involved in the mishap, and Carroll said no one would be made available for interviews.

An investigation is underway. A local firefighter who responded to the scene told Stars and Stripes that the incident occurred as the helicopter was attempting to land. It appears a powerful wind gust may have contributed to the accident, he said.

Photos taken at the scene suggest the wreckage caught fire. 'Stripes', citing unidentified South Korean officials, reported the troops were evacuated from the helicopter before it burned.>>

Investigators say the man, who seemed to be alone, put the backpack on the ground. Then, when the first explosion occurred at the finish line about 100 yards down Boylston Street, he took off. Just a few seconds later, the second bomb exploded near where the man had been standing.>>

REPORTED BY THE NEW YORK DAILY NEWS TODAY:The bomber suspect caught on video was spied on footage shot from a Lord & Taylor store and was reportedly wearing a black jacket, hooded sweatshirt and white baseball cap.
The camera — across the street from the second blast — was first mounted on the store back in the 1980s to combat robberies, according to the Boston Herald.
Positioned about halfway between the two blast sites, it captured a single man dropping off a bag near the point of the second explosion. Then he walked off.
The man seen on the video matched the description of a suspicious individual identified by eyewitnesses.

BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING: ODD REPORTS OF BOMB DRILLS

THIS STORY IS FULL OF ODDITIES. I DO WONDER AT IT.

There was no word on the motive or who may have launched the attack, and authorities in Washington said there was no immediate claim of responsibility.

A third incident at the John F. Kennedy Library a few miles away and more than an hour later was initially believed to be another explosive device, but library and police officials later said it was an unrelated fire. No one was injured.

CBS News senior correspondent John Miller reports that a Saudi national is being questioned by authorities. He was seen "acting suspiciously" running from the explosion, and a civilian chased him down and tackled him. He was turned over to Boston police and is being questioned by the FBI. He is being cooperative and denies any involvement.

Boston marathon runner Alastair Stevenson says that before the explosions erupted at the Boston Marathon this morning, he was told by police over the loud speaker that bomb squads and bomb sniffing dogs were part of a ‘training exercise’.

    “They kept announcing to runners not to be alarmed, that they were running a training exercise.”
In fact, the eyewitness runner says that there were already a major presence of bomb sniffing dogs and even a bomb squad.

University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15 News, “They kept making announcements on the loud speaker that it was just a drill and there was nothing to worry about. “It seemed like there was some sort of threat, but they kept telling us it was just a drill.”

The news station also reports that Stevenson “thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.”

Stevenson then describes hearing the explosions as he ran away from the scene, having just completed the marathon.

If this report is accurate, it clearly suggests there could have been some degree of prior knowledge of the bombing SOMEWHERE.

It remains to be seen how the media and the Obama administration will exploit this incident, depending on who gets the blame, but Rahm Emanuel’s saying, “never let a serious crisis go to waste” advise is sure to be heeded.
It may also be interesting to note here that on the day of the Sandy Hook School shootings, there were also several "drills" scheduled in the area for just such a situation.
And on the day of 9/11, military "drills" were being played-out for a hijacked plane assault on the USA. Those "drills" were blamed for the military's slow response to the hijacked planes that were about to strike Washington D.C.

17:01 GMT: A person, who briefed on the Boston Marathon investigation and spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that the explosives were hidden in 6-liter pressure cookers and placed in black duffel bags, AP reported. The explosives contained nails, ball bearings and shards of metal, but it is still unclear what was used to trigger them. Some of the bomb components are now in the hands of investigators.

        A series of well coordinated incidents will be planned to take place in and around Guantanamo to give genuine appearance of being done by hostile Cuban forces.

            a. Incidents to establish a credible attack (not in chronological order):
                Start rumors (many). Use clandestine radio.
                Land friendly Cubans in uniform "over-the-fence" to stage attack on base.
                Capture Cuban (friendly) saboteurs inside the base.
                Start riots near the base main gate (friendly Cubans).[13]
                Blow up ammunition inside the base; start fires.
                Burn aircraft on air base (sabotage).
                Lob mortar shells from outside of base into base. Some damage to installations.
                Capture assault teams approaching from the sea or vicinity of Guantanamo City.
                Capture militia group which storms the base.
                Sabotage ship in harbor; large fires—naphthalene.
                Sink ship near harbor entrance. Conduct funerals for mock-victims (may be in lieu of (10)).
            b. United States would respond by executing offensive operations to secure water and power supplies, destroying artillery and mortar emplacements which threaten the base.
            c. Commence large scale United States military operations.

        A "Remember the Maine" incident could be arranged in several forms:

            a. We could blow up a U.S. ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba.
            b. We could blow up a drone (unmanned) vessel anywhere in the Cuban waters. We could arrange to cause such incident in the vicinity of Havana or Santiago as a spectacular result of Cuban attack from the air or sea, or both. The presence of Cuban planes or ships merely investigating the intent of the vessel could be fairly compelling evidence that the ship was taken under attack. The nearness to Havana or Santiago would add credibility especially to those people that might have heard the blast or have seen the fire. The United States could follow up with an air/sea rescue operation covered by U.S. fighters to "evacuate" remaining members of the non-existent crew. Casualty lists in U.S. newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation.

        We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington.
        The terror campaign could be pointed at refugees seeking haven in the United States. We could sink a boatload of Cubans en route to Florida (real or simulated). We could foster attempts on lives of Cuban refugees in the United States even to the extent of wounding in instances to be widely publicized. Exploding a few plastic bombs in carefully chosen spots, the arrest of Cuban agents and the release of prepared documents substantiating Cuban involvement, also would be helpful in projecting the idea of an irresponsible government.
        A "Cuban-based, Castro-supported" filibuster could be simulated against a neighboring Caribbean nation (in the vein of the 14 June invasion of the Dominican Republic). We know that Castro is backing subversive efforts clandestinely against Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Nicaragua at present and possible others. These efforts can be magnified and additional ones contrived for exposure. For example, advantage can be taken of the sensitivity of the Dominican Air Force to intrusions within their national air space. "Cuban" B-26 or C-46 type aircraft could make cane-burning raids at night. Soviet Bloc incendiaries could be found. This could be coupled with "Cuban" messages to the Communist underground in the Dominican Republic and "Cuban" shipments of arm which would be found, or intercepted, on the beach.
        Use of MIG type aircraft by U.S. pilots could provide additional provocation. Harassment of civil air, attacks on surface shipping and destruction of U.S. military drone aircraft by MIG type planes would be useful as complementary actions. An F-86 properly painted would convince air passengers that they saw a Cuban MIG, especially if the pilot of the transport were to announce such fact. The primary drawback to this suggestion appears to be the security risk inherent in obtaining or modifying an aircraft. However, reasonable copies of the MIG could be produced from U.S. resources in about three months.
        Hijacking attempts against civil air and surface craft should appear to continue as harassing measures condoned by the government of Cuba. Concurrently, genuine defections of Cuban civil and military air and surface craft should be encouraged.
        It is possible to create an incident which will demonstrate convincingly that a Cuban aircraft has attacked and shot down a chartered civil airliner en route from the United States to Jamaica, Guatemala, Panama, or Venezuela. The destination would be chosen only to cause the flight plan route to cross Cuba. The passengers could be a group of college students off on a holiday or any grouping of persons with a common interest to support chartering a non-scheduled flight.

            a. An aircraft at Eglin AFB would be painted and numbered as an exact duplicate for a civil registered aircraft belonging to a CIA proprietary organization in the Miami area. At a designated time the duplicate would be substituted for the actual civil aircraft and would be loaded with the selected passengers, all boarded under carefully prepared aliases. The actual registered aircraft would be converted to a drone.
            b. Take off times of the drone aircraft and the actual aircraft will be scheduled to allow a rendezvous south of Florida. From the rendezvous point the passenger-carrying aircraft will descend to minimum altitude and go directly into an auxiliary field at Eglin AFB where arrangements will have been made to evacuate the passengers and return the aircraft to its original status. The drone aircraft meanwhile will continue to fly the filed flight plan. When over Cuba the drone will begin transmitting on the international distress frequency a "MAY DAY" message stating he is under attack by Cuban MIG aircraft. The transmission will be interrupted by destruction of the aircraft which will be triggered by radio signal. This will allow ICAO radio stations in the Western Hemisphere to tell the United States what has happened to the aircraft instead of the United States trying to "sell" the incident.

        It is possible to create an incident which will make it appear that Communist Cuban MIGs have destroyed a USAF aircraft over international waters in an unprovoked attack.

            a. Approximately 4 or 5 F-101 aircraft will be dispatched in trail from Homestead AFB, Florida, to the vicinity of Cuba. Their mission will be to reverse course and simulate fakir aircraft for an air defense exercise in southern Florida. These aircraft would conduct variations of these flights at frequent Intervals. Crews would be briefed to remain at least 12 miles off the Cuban coast; however, they would be required to carry live ammunition in the event that hostile actions were taken by the Cuban MIGs.
            b. On one such flight, a pre-briefed pilot would fly tail-end Charley at considerable interval between aircraft. While near the Cuban Island this pilot would broadcast that he had been jumped by MIGs and was going down. No other calls would be made. The pilot would then fly directly west at extremely low altitude and land at a secure base, an Eglin auxiliary. The aircraft would be met by the proper people, quickly stored and given a new tail number. The pilot who had performed the mission under an alias, would resume his proper identity and return to his normal place of business. The pilot and aircraft would then have disappeared.
            c. At precisely the same time that the aircraft was presumably shot down, a submarine or small surface craft would disburse F-101 parts, parachute, etc., at approximately 15 to 20 miles off the Cuban coast and depart. The pilots returning to Homestead would have a true story as far as they knew. Search ships and aircraft could be dispatched and parts of aircraft found.'"

IT DID NOT STOP THERE...RELATED "OPERATIONS", LIKE MONGOOSE AND BINGO ALSO CAME UP WITH DIRTY TRICKS AND CRAZY SCHEMES THAT INCLUDED PEOPLE ACTUALLY DYING, BEING INJURED JUST TO PROVOKE THE PUBLIC TO DEMAND WAR WITH CUBA.

Operation Bingo was a plan to fake an attack on the United States Guantanamo Bay military base as a pretext for a devastating U.S. military assault on Havana.
Operation Dirty Trick was a plan to kill two birds with one stone if something went wrong with the manned 1962 Mercury space flight, carrying John Glenn:
Forged documentation and doctored photos were readied in order to blame any mission disaster not on NASA but on the Cuban government.

As the U.S. Department of Defense report noted:

    '"Any of the contrived situations described above are inherently, extremely risky in our democratic system in which security can be maintained, after the fact, with very great difficulty. If the decision should be made to set up a contrived situation it should be one in which participation by U.S. personnel is limited only to the most highly trusted covert personnel. This suggests the infeasibility of the use of military units for any aspect of the contrived situation.'"

    Operation Northwoods, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit; planes would be hijacked. Gunning for War

The Joint Chiefs even proposed using the potential death of astronaut John Glenn during the first attempt to put an American into orbit as a false pretext for war with Cuba, the documents show.

Should the rocket explode and kill Glenn, they wrote, "the objective is to provide irrevocable proof … that the fault lies with the Communists et all Cuba [sic]."

The plans were motivated by an intense desire among senior military leaders to depose Castro, who seized power in 1959 to become the first communist leader in the Western Hemisphere — only 90 miles from U.S. shores. >>

IT WAS A LUNATIC SCHEME, KENNEDY REJECTED IT....AND THEN...

Kennedy personally rejected the Northwoods proposal, and it would now be the Joint Chiefs' turn to incur his displeasure. A JCS/Pentagon document (Ed Lansdale memo) dated 16 March 1962 titled MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT, 16 MARCH 1962 reads: "General Lemnitzer commented that the military had contingency plans for U.S. intervention. Also it had plans for creating plausible pretexts to use force, with the pretext either attacks on U.S. aircraft or a Cuban action in Latin America for which we could retaliate. The President said bluntly that we were not discussing the use of military force.
Following presentation of the Northwoods plan, Kennedy removed Lemnitzer as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, although he became Supreme Allied Commander of NATO in January 1963. American armed forces leaders began to perceive Kennedy as going soft on Cuba, and the President became increasingly unpopular with the military, a rift that came to a head during Kennedy's disagreements with the service chiefs over the Cuban Missile Crisis.

ON NOVEMBER 22, 1963, JOHN F. KENNEDY WAS KILLED.
