North Manchester police received a phone call Friday night from someone claiming to have stabbed their roommate, was armed with a shotgun and a bomb and threatened to blow up the administration building, according to Indiana State Police.
By 1:30 Saturday morning, ISP investigators had completed a sweep of the admin building but found no explosive devices or suspects. A check for a stabbing victim also came up empty.
ISP units then left the campus, saying the incident would continue to be investigated as a likely prank call.
As of 1:30 a.m., the university's website still listed the campus as being on lockdown. The campus alert posted on the university's website reads:

Update as of 4:06 a.m. EDT: Manchester University officials gave the all clear early on Saturday after its campus in North Manchester, Indiana, was locked down for several hours following reports of an armed person.
Manchester University spokeswoman Anne Gregory said in an email that police did not find any threats after searching all the buildings at the campus, located about 36 miles west of Fort Wayne, according to Reuters.
