WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT, THE SUPPOSEDLY "LIVE" CAMERAS FOCUSED ON THE INSTALLATION WENT DARK, NO VIDEO, NO STILL PHOTOS.
NOT THE FIRST TIME, AND IT'S PRACTICALLY A PROVEN FACT THE CAMERAS ARE NOT LIVE ANYWAY.
THE YOUNG, BRAVE LAD WHO KEEPS THE "FUKUSHIMA DIARY" WEBSITE TRANSLATED THE DOCUMENT, WHICH, FOR THOSE FLUENT IN JAPANESE AND WHO HAVE JAPANESE FONT, CAN BE FOUND <HERE>.
THE ILLUSTRATIONS ALONE ARE TELLING.
WHAT IS ALSO TELLING IS THAT NOTHING BEING REPORTED IN JAPAN HAS BEEN SO MUCH AS MENTIONED IN AMERICAN MAINSTREAM MEDIA.
CAN'T THE EDITORS OF THOSE RAG SHEETS READ THE ENGLISH VERSIONS FROM THERE?
POSSIBLY TOPPLING REACTOR BUILDINGS AREN'T NEWS ENOUGH?
The report reads ,
Reactor 1 turbine building sank by 730 mm [2.40 ft],
Reactor 2 by 725 mm,
Reactor 3 by 710 mm,
Reactor 4 by 712 mm.
THAT LEAVES REACTORS 5 AND 6.
THAT ALSO LEAVES "FUKUSHIMA 2", THE DAINI NUCLEAR PLANT JUST SOUTH OF DAIICHI.
IT WAS ALSO DAMAGED BY THE TSUNAMI AND IT ALSO DUMPED CONTAMINATED WATER INTO THE PACIFIC, OVER 7,000 TONS FROM ITS FOUR REACTOR BUILDINGS.
IT WAS ALSO NEAR MELTDOWN AT THE SAME TIME AS DAIICHI.
On December 26, 2011, the Prime Minister officially cancelled the nuclear emergency declaration for the Fukushima Daini plant officially ending the incident.
SO, NO ONE SEEMS INTERESTED IN DAINI AND NO ONGOING OUTSIDE MONITORING IS TAKING PLACE.
WE TRUST TEPCO AND ABE TO TELL US IF ANYTHING IS WRONG, RIGHT?
MEANWHILE:
"1,000,000 Bq/m3 of Sr-90 detected in seawater of Fukushima plant port / Highest in recorded history"
"On 6/19/2015, Tepco announced they measured 1,000,000 Bq/m3 of Strontium-90 at two locations in Fukushima plant port.
This is the highest reading in recorded history. The sample is the port seawater. Sampling date was 5/4/2015.
The location was near the water intake of Reactor 3 and 4, and also the screen of Reactor 4.
The previous highest readings were lower than 700,000 Bq/m3.
Tepco has not made any announcement on this rapid increase."
The explosions at the Fukushima Daiichi plant were indeed extremely destructive.
The complex structure of the lower part of the reactor buildings is well suited to cause flame acceleration and potentially transition to detonation (see Sidebar 4.1 in Chapter 4).
Ironically, having a strong structure with multiple compartments can greatly enhance the damage over a weaker structure—this result, although not intuitive, is now well established (NEA, 2000) and is an important consideration in combustion hazard analysis.
THE SETTLING, AS MANY HAVE REPORTED WHO HAVE VISITED THE SITE, COMES NOT ONLY FROM THE SOFT GROUND AND WATER RUNOFF, BUT FROM THE INTENSIFYING DILAPIDATION OF THE BUILDINGS.
THEY'RE QUITE SIMPLY CRUMBLING FROM THE UNPRECEDENTED RADIATION, THE CORROSIVE SEA WATER, AND FREQUENT EARTHQUAKES.
FROM THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, AUG. 6, 2013.Tatsuya Shinkawa, nuclear accident response director of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, at a news conference last month. "The water could pool dangerously underground, softening the earth and potentially toppling the reactor buildings", he said.
ON JULY 28, TEPCO BEGAN REMOVING THE COVER OF THE BADLY DAMAGED REACTOR UNIT 1 BUILDING., AND THEN...WE DON'T KNOW.Tepco accidentally destroyed a part of Reactor 1 cover at dismantling preparation in 2014.
TEPCO ALSO BEGAN REMOVING THE LARGEST DEBRIS FROM THE REACTOR UNIT 3 BUILDING THIS WEEK, A VERY HAZARDOUS JOB.
PHOTOS SHOW US HOW LARGE SOME OF THAT DEBRIS IS,
"Joint communications reported that the debris to be removed weighs 20 tons, but “Happy11311″ commented on Twitter that it is the 35 t of fuel handling machine. He added this is one of the most risky processes in decommissioning of Fukushima plant as fuel removal from SFP 4 (Spent Fuel Pool of Reactor 4)."
I GUESS WE HOLD OUR BREATHS AND WAIT.COMEDY OF ERRORS FOR OVER 4 YEARS!
NHK Newsline, Apr. 14, 2014: [TEPCO officials] have revealed another mistake at the nuclear plant.
Highly contaminated water was sent to the wrong building... about 240 tons¹ of contaminated water had flowed in.Mainichi, Nov 18, 2014 : Attempt to stop water flowing into trench at Fukushima plant fails… TEPCO determined that the leak must be continuing… critics have pointed out the possibility of it escaping into the ocean… TEPCO planned to freeze the water… However, the water was insufficiently frozen to stop the flow.
Newsweek, Feb 25, 2015: The fallout from the Fukushima disaster is far from over… Local commercial fishermen are reportedly outraged… “I don’t understand why [Tepco] kept silent… Fishery operators are absolutely shocked,” [said] Masakazu Yabuki, chief of the Iwaki fisheries cooperative… [The] plant has been plagued by a staggering number of accidents.
ACCIDENTS OR INTENTIONAL NEGLECT?
ACCIDENTS OR "WE JUST DON'T GIVE A DAMN"?
MANY TRIED TO TELL US BACK IN 2013 THAT THOSE BUILDINGS WERE SINKING.
TEPCO WAS IN DENIAL.
AP REPORTED IT IN 2013, BUT EVEN WAYBACK MACHINE CAN'T BRING UP THE ARTICLE:
{This page is a 403, forbidden page}
GOOD THING SOME OF US HUNG ONTO IT.
" Dec. 3, 2013: A government panel proposed additional measures to lessen the radioactive water crisis at Japan’s crippled nuclear power plant, saying Tuesday that current plans are not enough to prevent the risk of a disaster.A draft report, made available to reporters after the panel’s experts and officials met, proposes covering the ground with asphalt to reduce rain inflow
Radioactive water has been leaking from the damaged reactors and mixing with groundwater.
Experts say that the underground water that flows into the reactor and turbine basements is mostly rainwater, which can be reduced by covering most exposed dirt with asphalt.
Experts also cautioned that decreasing the amount of groundwater could cause the ground to sink in some areas with soft structure.
Such vulnerable locations include the area where hundreds of tanks have been built to contain highly radioactive water, said Hitoshi Tsukamoto, a geologist at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology."
[ANYTHING TO IMPROVE THE ECONOMY AND MAKE A PROFIT AND KEEP THOSE OLYMPIC GAMES IN TOKYO!
LET DAIICHI FALL DOWN!]
TEPCO REPORTED THIS MONTH A HISTORICALLY HIGH PROFIT FOR THE YEAR, OVER 300% ABOVE LAST YEAR'S!
HOW CAN THAT BE IF THEY ARE SPENDING MUCH OF THAT ON REPAIRS AND CLEANUP?
IS IT BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT OWNS 51% OF DAIICHI 1 AND 2?
AP ALSO REPORTED THIS IN SEPT 2013:"Japan posted a trade deficit in 2011 for the first time in 31 years, and another deficit of 8.2 trillion yen ($82.4 billion) in 2012. About half of the increase stemmed from rising fuel costs, according to the trade minister, Toshimitsu Motegi. The recent weakening of the Japanese yen has added to the burden on the economy from oil and gas imports.
Having invested billions of dollars (trillions of yen) in nuclear plants and technology it is counting on selling to a burgeoning global industry, many of Japan's business and political leaders appear reluctant to give it up.
Even if Japan's nuclear plants are allowed to restart, many will soon reach their 40-year operating limits, raising the issue of whether and how they will be replaced. Meanwhile, the disposal and security of nuclear waste are issues yet to be resolved."
THE JAPANESE PEOPLE MARCHED IN THE STREETS BY THE TENS AND HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS FOR MONTHS TO FORCE THEIR GOVERNMENT TO ABANDON NUCLEAR ENERGY, BUT EVEN WITH PROTESTERS OUTSIDE THE GATES, ABE ALLOWED A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT TO COME BACK ONLINE.
AND THEN THE GOVERNMENT THERE ORDERED A MEDIA "BLACKOUT".
PEOPLE GAVE UP.
LOOKS LIKE EVERYONE HAS GIVEN UP ON FUKUSHIMA.
